Opening churches/mosques is a stupid move

Any Governor that authorizes opening them is simply wicked, ignorant and unintelligent....

Any pastor/priest or imam that holds services now is selfish and it's doing it for what they'll gain...not for the kingdom of God

God is everywhere please, pray in your houses

If these politicians cared about Nigeria or its future they'll be talking about opening schools, saving lives and stabilizing the economy

But instead na church matter dem carry for head
They should things that are more important in a pandemic..

These set of politicians will gladly leave us to die

The southern states lockdown their churches During Easter when cases were not upto 500 and we where forced to celebrate easter at home. Now cases is over 5k but i bet u that all Northern states will lift lockdown on mosques so as to celebrate salah

They will open their mosque. But they were attacking Oyedepo all over NL thread when he still held service during lockdown.

It seems like our own Christian governors always feel the need to please them. But it is not.

Are there really churches in those states? Well, northerners and mosques cann't be separated. They even try for the few weeks they have been separated.

See what you are saying.
But you lambast Pastors.
You lambasted Oyedepo when he held that service some Sundays ago.

You seem very tolerant of other religion but Christianity. No?

We really do not understand what is happening in other countries that have suffered the effect of this pandemic. Toh, as time passes by, we would understand better.

First Term Governors cant act tough on the masses especially as regarding religion only people like Wike on his second term can do and undo, FG shouldn't had involved Governors Forum in this decision making, they should only make suggestion

Whether God is nowhere or everywhere, faith is by definition irrational.

Staying at home, speaking with God alone, everyday, might cause madness..you might start hearing voices, or worse, see Jesus appear in your room.

With church or mosque, the meeting with God becomes less personal. In a group, the gift of imagination is heated up as though thrown in a furnace. Emotions can be more powerful, and that's addictive.

Most Nigerians have lived under a failed government. Despite the failed promises, religion has thrived because God is always in control.. No one can hold God responsible for any disaster, only the good times. The devil does bad things. God is good.... He will do what he says he will do.

They have been fed religion their whole life, the Quran and Bible has taught them all the history they know. The walls of their minds are painted by the words of foreigners who lived ages ago
The Bible and Quran are the lens through which they view the world - through the eyes of cavemen who lived and died centuries ago.

So when a modern virus comes into their natural world, they really do not care. If they die, thank God. If they survive, praise God.

It's the reason our politicians are all religious Muslims and Christians. It's why even the most remote LGAs have a church or mosque built by their representatives. God is everything in Nigeria. And if you can link your people to him, you don't need anyone to hold you accountable. God is responsible for everything - Jesus becomes savior and deliveree from all the evill your failings produce.

Don't know why some governor are very irresponsible angry just because they want to score cheap points they are easing lockdown ( opening churches and mosques) when yawa gas now they will be running to Abuja

God is everywhere people can pray and get answers at home grin it's not until they go to church or mosque

Some of these governor that don't believe covid19 exist is because one of their colleagues never die of the infection sad

I think you are missing the point. You should ask if lockdown is profitable to them and necessary as it seem
Well you can continue to stay at home if lockdown is profitable to you
