Bro queuing at ATM as in Nigeria does not negate the fact that the banking sector is advanced. It's just that the average Nigerian still prefers cash despite other alternatives provided. Also banks like Zenith are very time conscious in their dealings from my experience.As for the cheque deposit issue, we have something similar in Zenith iteller. Download the app and check it out. It's a zenith bank product.

Also in those days when Oando did IPO, I experienced same fate, after holding my fund for almost a month, fund returned with msg oversubscribed.
Only yeye coy like Unic insurance, international brewery that constantly making loss, no dividend and Nig Breweries with poor dividend scalled true.
This made me completely lose interest in stock mkt

I have 300k invested in Stanbic IBTC mutual funds(my first investment) since last year March. Now I have 200k lying idle in bank account, any advise on what to do with it that will yield returns and my capital will be guaranteed?

Yes, invest in what you understand but be open-minded and seek knowledge of other investment vehicles. I know people that only understand fixed deposit as a viable form of passive investment/income. When you try to educate them about Treasury bills or Mutual Funds, they quickly respond with the usual statement, ''I ONLY INVEST IN WHAT I UNDERSTAND''. But we all know that understanding how T-bills and MMF work is not rocket science.
