You have a domian name ranking number one without a proper website or SEO, Bro it's gold in the SEO world. Don't let the guy bullsh** you . He knows the value of that name. If you can go to the stress, I'll would have advised you build a site on it (since it's already ranking on page one) you can easily rent it out to truck companies in the area or sell it to them. Bit the wahala now is, according to Neilpatel's Ubbersuggest, the site receives 55 visitors per month( a whole number 1!!!)

I think this is a bit poor and my letter may trigger the question " can we see what the traffic stats looks like please"

I don't know why a high ranking site like this will be getting just 55k/per month. But still, I do not know if its previous owners had a lander or it just led to nowhere. I believe if a related site is built on it, it will do more than 55 because google will optimise it more as it has began to satisfy search intent.

So people like those, how can u convince them to buy another "website", mind u, u may not be selling them website, but remember they are not as knowledgeable about the issue as u are, so they won't think like u do. So imagine investing your time to build up a mini website, and then they will be Telling u I already have my own website, or even no reply.

It doesn't really matter if he was the previous owner, he might have purchased it then for $8, do u think he will now pay $8k, $5k or even $1k for it? I doubt.

sorry to say that with this your thinking and desperate for high price, you may likely loose the trade totally and have none at the end. why cant you tell him to raise the price because you appreciate that he is willing to buy and you are willing to sell, that you can work things out and arrive at good price. If he quotes more than 250 and Less 300, quote around 320/350 and end the deal, if he quote around 300, quote 350- 400. if he remain adamant at that price, well its left for you to accept and move on. BUT ONE THING IS CERTAIN, what ikhalyfah said will eventually play out if you no use good judgement. GOOD LUCK.
