It's a python. i've held a couple with my hands. Puff adder has a rougher looking scale texture.

That is a dwarf Python,the only harm that snake is capable of doing is to your Chicken eggs..

It's a ball python..12 years old girls were wrapping it around their wrists and waists during my nysc days in delta state...completely harmless...
