Dear sir,

Why are you lying? Tony Timpa made the news. It was an unfortunate event.

The rest of your comment is just whataboutism and conservative talking points.

Stop listening to grifters like Candace Owens and other coons who hate their own black race.

Say what you want,
just go after the people that are killing blacks and take your SJWs with you.

Imagine firing people and cancelling shows just because people disagree with you.
Good forbid the next director of potential block buster movie disagree with BLM (or sends out a tweet that he loves his white wife) that movie will be taken down and cancelled.

You guys are just the best pawns for making money, cos you are all emotional snow flakes.

Apocalypse Now (1979)

Took me a week to finish this film. In the end, it was worth the effort, despite all the trouble. A masterpiece in it's own right.

You people are funny. Someone was reviewing and commenting on a comedy show about Black Lives matter in America, and you guys piled on him by throwing a strawman about Nigeria's problems.

Do you guys not know about logical fallacies?

Structure of the strawman fallacy

X: Police brutality in America against blacks is bad. Black lives matter.

Y: You are should focus on Boko Haram brutality as you are on a nigerian forum and black Nigerian lives matter.

Note 2 things.

1. X did not argue that Nigerian black lives do not matter

2. X could be an American or a Nigerian living in America.

3. There is nothing wrong in discussing an American issue close to your heart on a Nigerian forum. After all, we discuss american Hollywood movies.

Don't let the jibes get to you. Live your life and watch enough movies as you can and like. Not everyone will like you.

Despite how instrumental Koice was in helping many people with links to movies, ratings and movie and series suggestions, some of his detractors labeled him jobless coz of the sheer amount of knowledge he had about movies and series.

So, if Koice could be insulted for trying to help some people out, it shouldn't be a thing of surprise if you ever get the tag. Nobody pays your bills or provide food for you, so just do whatever makes you happy as long it's not a crime. If Watching a lot of movies does it for you, to hell with anybody's opinions.

Koicereloaded was an intelligent reviewer.

I remember discussing some science fiction movies with him.

Mekaprime is trying but he seems to be a low budget koicereloaded, no offense.

There are very few people here that I can discus the intricacies of time travel with on this thread.

Cant wait for TENET 2020 to come out. It is some kind of reverse time travel movie

But he doesn't deserve to be insulted for being passionate about movies. My illustration with Koice had nothing to do with if Koice was an intelligent reviewer or not; I was just trying to let him know that despite how high Koice was held, Koice still got insulted for it.

My point is, no matter what one do or say, not everyone will like him or her.

And I don't see Mekaprime as a low-key Koice. Yes, Koice is without a doubt several levels above him when it comes to general movies discussion and knowledge, but it's not a competition. No-one is perfect. We're all here to learn and to teach others, not to compete with who's best or not.

Mekaprime is just doing his thing. One day, he might reach Koice's level of knowledge on movies. Rome wasn't built in a day. We all started somewhere. Once upon a time, Koice was a learner when it came to movies.

He should be encouraged not insulted. Mekaprime has been helpful to me if not to others. With his movies ratings and suggestions, I've been able to watch and note down some movies I'll watch in future. For example, it was after Mekaprime dropped the rating and review of Monster that I got to read extensively about the serial killer and watch the movie. Without him, I probably wouldn't have gained that knowledge.

Everyone can't be Koice and doesn't need to be. We're all different.

Really? We review Hollywood movies here and not Nollywood. But when someone talks about black lives matter, we are now complaining that he should focus on black Nigerian lives? Is that fair?

I dont see anything wrong in discussing BLM topic here as long we still talk about movies afterwards. All discussions here haven't been centered on movies alone, and if a trending topic like BLM comes up, those that are up for it can wade into it.

For weeks now, BLM and racism topics as a whole was being extensively discussed on the Chelsea thread in the Sports section and I was following the debates there. I learned a lot from it. Tomorrow, I'd find myself in America and those debates could help guide me to avoid cops brutality.

The Boko Haram discussion hasn't stopped for years, so I don't see how talking about BLM means we don't talk about Boko Haram.

This wasnt one of those Dave Chapelle comedy specials, this was more of discussion or airing his opinion on current events, which he is very entitled to.
But when it gets political black people get emotional.

Why this so called BLM is a major concern to me is that this movement that has been hijacked by political elites (which the majority of the blacks fail to see) is that it may change the movie and entertainment industry as we know it.

Just yesterday Marvel came out to apologize about one its comics, what was their crime? there erected a statue of Capt America, can you see how ridiculous this is?

If you are popular actor or director and you say "All Lives Matter" just get ready for the mob to burn your house down.

Now may be a very bad time to make movies with a white person as a lead character. Imagine those useless white celebrities making a stupid video "I take responsibility" in their mansions.

Now we cant watch movies like 300 in peace because it only features the "white supremacist".

Yesterday you could imagine a Man City spanish defender that had a nasty collision with his goal keeper was fighting for life on the pitch wearing a "black lives matter" number - the irony.
