This wasnt one of those Dave Chapelle comedy specials, this was more of discussion or airing his opinion on current events, which he is very entitled to.
But when it gets political black people get emotional.

Why this so called BLM is a major concern to me is that this movement that has been hijacked by political elites (which the majority of the blacks fail to see) is that it may change the movie and entertainment industry as we know it.

Just yesterday Marvel came out to apologize about one its comics, what was their crime? there erected a statue of Capt America, can you see how ridiculous this is?

If you are popular actor or director and you say "All Lives Matter" just get ready for the mob to burn your house down.

Now may be a very bad time to make movies with a white person as a lead character. Imagine those useless white celebrities making a stupid video "I take responsibility" in their mansions.

Now we cant watch movies like 300 in peace because it only features the "white supremacist".

Yesterday you could imagine a Man City spanish defender that had a nasty collision with his goal keeper was fighting for life on the pitch wearing a "black lives matter" number - the irony.

That is the reality of this situation.

I remember a week or 2 ago when a white female moderator made a post supporting Black Lives Matter(after the George Floyd death and ongoing saga)in my DC group on Facebook. If you see the way she was pounced on by the Blacks as if she said a heinous crime.

That Alone will make you understand how complex this issue is.

I remember discussing some science fiction movies with him.

Mekaprime is trying but he seems to be a low budget koicereloaded, no offense.

There are very few people here that I can discus the intricacies of time travel with on this thread.

Cant wait for TENET 2020 to come out. It is some kind of reverse time travel movie
Time travel is one fascinating topic. I have come to the conclusion that each "time travel" filmmaker though why adhering to the basic tenets of time travel, changes and modifies the concept as he or she seem fit and i think this is possible because time travel as of now is purely hypothetical...taking example from my recent time travel watch...Dark (German Series) and Avengers: End game.

Avengers:End game completely threw caution to the wind in their concept of time travel, I know to a certain degree you can't travel back in time to change the future you just came from without dire consequences (Ironman dieing from snapping that gauntlet was as a result of choice and not time travel)....i maybe right or wrong

"Dark"...i fully subscribe to the filmmakers school of thought about time travel..in the entire series thus far, no character who has travelled back in time has been able to change the present they just came from or the future thus far tho since the 3rd and final season is coming out on the 27th of June..some concepts in the series gave me cause to think....like "God is time, and Time is not merciful" and the day you are born is the day your time starts counting, and time won't wait, it goes on and on till the person dies, so finding a way to control time means literally having your own destiny in your hands, one can go back and forth and not be a slave to time, they also mentioned "bootstrap paradox" wherein nothing is really created, since the thing already exists in the future, things just arrive from the future to the past to become themselves ( this is so intricate and has many equations to support).

However, with Christopher Nolan not only a passionate filmmaker but also a very brilliant mind... I can't wait to see his concept of time travel in "TENET"

You said endgame threw caution to the wind?
For someone who claim to be well versed in the concept of time travel, how did the logic behind messing with time in endgame fly over your head?

Avengers Endgame has one of the most relatively plausible concept of time travel in Hollywood.
They didn't go back in time to change the present (hello, Xmen: days of the future past), they went back to retrieve the items used to disrupt their present, travel back to the present and use the items to restore the balance in their present (emphasis on this!) then travel back to the past to return the aforementioned items.

Hulk told war machine who suggested travelling back in time to kill baby Thanos that killing him won't change nothing because the present will only become their past and the future will be their present.
Meaning whatever they have to do, has to be done in the present.

Haven't seen any concept of time travel more straightforward than this and I have seen many.

Hello sir....where did i say " well versed in time travel"? and i did mention i might be right or wrong.

I still find their concept of time travel disturbing, and this was one of the main down point of Endgame that people spoke of and wrote series of articles about how the time travel logic was shady.

They went back in time to collect the items used in distrupting their present and used it to bring balance to their present, aren't you ultimately saying the same thing i said, "Doing something in the past to change the present or future or "bring balance like you said? The concept meant seem plausible to you but I don't buy it...great movie still btw.

If you think about it, it's kinda flawed.

They traveled back and got the stones, logically, by returning to their present with the stones the whole Thanus incident should never have happened because the stones wouldn't have existed in that timeline.

Also by returning the stones to the exact places they got them should have negated everything they did, because now Thanus could still get the stones; (I know he was snapped out of existence in the present, but he still exists in the past, so he will continue on his quest to save mankind).

Unless the snap also snapped him out of existence in the past, then we have a bigger problem, because they have now altered the course of history and broken the rule of time travel and that should have severe consequences.

You see, Endgame time travel theory was nothing short of underwhelming, basic and poorly carried out, and they even had the temerity to mock "back to the future's" version when their's wasn't any better.

The timeline is not linear.

Revisit the scene where The ancient one took Hulk to the cleaners.

If Thanos doesn't exist in the present, how can he get the stones to disrupt the present timeline.

Or are you trying to tell me that 2014 Thanos will get the stones from the past and travel to the future to redo the snap?

Added to the whole hulabalu was the whole "Gamora" debacle, basic time travelling principle can't "reverse" death, she clearly dies after Thanos sacrifices her for the soul stone in the events of Infinity war in ,2018, but 2014 Gamora returning with Thanos and Nebula in 2023 to wage war against the avengers in Endgame simply doesn't add up.

grin This is funny.

I don't have to make a single post on a thread in order to report people who break rules. I report lots and lots of posts each day on lots and lots of threads on which I will never make a single post (checkout my activities on the politics section). It's my right and I will continue to do it without apology, just as I will always post on any thread I feel like posting on.

This is my last post on this matter. I couldn't give a rat's ass what anybody thinks about it.

Does the fact that Thanos sacrificed Gamora erase her from existence?

So what is stopping her from being alive in 2014 when she was sacrificed in 2018 ?

Since she is still alive in 2014, why can't she time jump from 2014 to 2023?
