Really?

What year was that?

96 to 2000. The era of 'El Phenom'. The great Ronaldo himself and the mercurial Luis Figo. He actually benched Figo a couple of times. But for injuries he will probably have played for Real Madrid like both those icons. He was that good.

Please remove Ahmed Musa from that group of failures.

Ahmed remains an enigma in any game of soccer

You can be so good in another league but flop in another

Celestine Babyaro a flop? U must be joking.

Celestine Babayaro was a flop at Chelsea.
He was good at Anderlecht.

You must be drunk to have added Celestine Babayaro to that list and tell me when Seyi Olajengbesi played in the EPL?

You need to check the statistics on Celestine Babayaro at Chelsea. Playing for Nigeria does not make you a good club player. And son learn to be civil when making a point. You don't have the monopoly on insults.

Agha wonder should be the Worst!

Shakardonesk finished using all Him at his prime for good 5yrs. Wigan thought they were buying a 25yrar old player.. they didn't know they signed a 42 year old ..

The Wigan Chairman was so angry! Shakadonesk chop then raw
lol.....the Wigan fans were very disappointed, they said their only regret was that they couldn't see aghahowa somersault because he failed to score.

As for my own personal opinion Julius Aghahowa is the biggest flop in EPL ,a dreaded striker in the Ukrainian Premier League in this playing days. Player of this caliber could have done better in EPL.
The next flop is Ahmed Musa, infact make we just rest the case.
Let me just add this , i will give the best Nigeria EPL play to Yakubu Aiyegbeni he was hot during his playing days & Nwankwo Kanu.
Most successful will go to John Mikel Obi.
martins was OK too, although his stint was short with Newcastle but age killed aghahowa, he was the most dedicated striker I watched play for the national team, it was a pity that my dream partnership of him with martins materialised late and very short but I really love and adore both players, Assuming Aghahowa came to England in his prime ( real prime) , we may be talking about another thing now.

EPL is not for everybody.
check the likes of.memphis n di Maria when they came to man United. But when they left to another club they both performed well.
EPL na mad league oo
That does not mean they are not good players.
when will you people stop over hyping EPL, players adaptation to leagues is dependent on many factors and being successful or failing can happen to any player in any league. Henry was a flop in Italy became a legend with arsenal, Mahrez came from lig 2 in France ( ordinary lig 2) he tore the EPL apart, winning the PFA player award, sallah was just above average in Italy , he became a mini god in England, etc so it happens everywhere.

Emmanuel Amuneke played briefly for Barca but injuries were his Achilles Heel... quite literaly.

According to Wiki he played 19 times scoring just a goal. His peak was really in Sporting Lisbon, CR7's club of his youth and he was a regular in the Champions league where Barca scouts spotted him.

As for Real Madrid the closest any Nigerian has gotten to the Galacticos according to Google is Mutiu Adepoju playing for their B team.

Haruna Babangida

Why does everyone forget him?

Hello guys who do you think is the biggest Nigerian flop in the EPL

Don't forget Yakubu Aiyegheni is our Best Nigeria striker in EPL

I know some people will only remember his miss against Korea that's not EPL

Nope, I disagree, the best striker that Nigeria exported to the premier league is Nwankwo Kanu... check the stats.

He's not even second best, because Shola Amoebi takes that spot very comfortably.
We talking not just about goals, but assists, all round performance and titles.

Julius Aghahowa really disappointed, after tearing down teams in Ukraine. Guess the EPL just wasn't for him.
I heard what happened to Aghahowa at Wigan athletic that year.
Emile Heskey was fighting for a re-Call to England national team when Aghahowa arrived.
So, other players wanted Heskey get England call up so, they conspired to frustrate Aghahowa so that he would not out shine Emile Heskey and that how Aghahowa was rendered fruitless in Wigan.
