Mcslize: I don't know how other banks do it, but First Bank pays cash. Afterward, you meet them When you meet them, you decide whether you need cash or transfer. To be on the safe side, please avoid cash. If you live in Lagos, you will be hearing stories that the money will be complete when you count it. But when you get home, it will no longer be complete |

Even the treasury bills interest rate can't keep up with the massive inflation and dollar/naira exchange. Can you tell me why someone will still want to invest in Nigeria? What is the point of bank giving businesses forex when they can sell to Aboki who will sell at black market rate and split profit with them. By the end of this administration we will have witnessed the greatest capital flight in Nigerian history through forex. We have had 2 rates since 3 years ago and some people are capitalizing on the stupidity of the FG big time. If I was a banker with access to forex I for don hammer by now. How does on buy forex abeg. I need to get all my naira out of that country at some point. 2 Likes |

It's a big hoax. Use the power of social media to name them devils so security forces can round them up, so your prosecutors can trial them and finally Nigerian judges can judge them. As a Sango follower I am a firm believer in civilized law and I hate jungle justice because only devils win with it. Name them devils or suffer the wrath of change

phr33man: Let everything go to shi.t! I don't care. I have millions invested in Nigerian treasury bills. If the CBN will now put policies in place that encourage commercial banks to sell dollars to Aboki rather than to businesses that can save the Nigerian economy and in turn save my investment then why should I care? All this round tripping going on, who is benefitting? Whose fault is it? People have said it over and over again that it doesn't make sense that interbank rate differs from CBN official rate by almost N 100 and will result in massive corruption but Mr Integrity has refused to listen probably because some of his cabal are benefitting. So tell me. Why should I care? Ever since Buhari entered up till now, the dollar to Naira rate has more than doubled. By the time he is done with Nigeria we will be talking about close to $1 to N 800. Just wait and see. |

kingphilip: That's actually the strategy he intends to use. He will help the rate get to N1,000.00/$. The CBN will then do what Ghana did in 2007 - erase the three zeros, reissue new currency notes and then announce that N1 = $1. |

SmartPolician: Exactly. Transfer is better. But u know transfer will only be possible if the aboki is using First Bank dorm account cuz the First bank staff that opened my account said one can't do transfer to other banks dorm accounts. It must be First Bank to First Bank dorm account. Is this true? |

Mcslize: I mean you will give them the dollars in cash. And they will transfer the Naira equivalent to your naira account. I have never tried local FBN-to-FBN transfer on my dorm account. |
Re: Naira Plunges To N472/$ As Forex Scarcity Worsens by Mcslize: 2:42pm On Jul 29, 2020 |
SmartPolician: Oh noted. Thank you. Will follow what u said cuz all those Aboki get jars and magic a lot. Receiving cash from them is a bad idea. Every transaction will be done right there inside the bank to avoid stories that touch. |

The greatest mistake I made as not escaping from this zoo after my studies. Instead I even went to acquire an Msc that I have not used to put food on the table. If not for anything else, I must leave this place for my kids. It's not even about opening a business. Govt will frustrate you with policies. Touts and police would extort you. If you find employment, your boss would cheat and victimize you. This is after motorists would have insults you in traffic. What a country. I don tire abeg 6 Likes |
