Don't know if I am right but....

1. Baba Ijebu was dodging tax.... a lot of big companies try to do this.

2. Some bigwigs are trying to manipulate the forex market... that's no news especially since the free fall of the naira.

My thinking is that the author of the article maybe made 1 and 2 connect on his own.

Both points are true, 1 is a subset of 2. Baba Ijebu is just 1 of the 38 culprits.

I will no condescend to your level because of the above stated, I have a strong believe that fake news and hate speech is a crime in Nigeria and punishable under the law, if the news isn't accurate and coherent, Sahara reporter or where ever the news emanated from should answer for their misinformation but, the facts remains that if freezing account of companies for tax invasion will guarantee free flow of dollar in the parallel market then they should do so by freezing all politicians company's account not being selective about it. Rochas okorocha is a case study, he converted the state company to his own personal business, he never paid tax and pay rolled all the workers in the company to government account now that's a bright idea of the people that claim to be fighting corruption?.

Your Buhari has caused more harm than good since his reelection, the economic has been in recession since 2016 till date, believe the contrary to your own peril.

Lastly learn some manners it will take u far in life

You are being ignorance of this, so is not even the job of an economist. But Accounting sector.

Well, let me try to explain...

Do you know why there is record for development in a country? It's because there are lots of investment in the country, companies and so on, so all these investments are needed by the government of a country to determine the level of development in the state, cause this will create enough revenue for the government (in form of tax). So if these companies are failing to remit the right amount of tax to the government, this will be a problem to the country economy.
