Nigerian Business Developer, Omobaabirin Adedotun, is of the opinion that Nigerians abuse the word, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), IgbereTV reports.

Taking to her Twitter handle, she wrote:

"Let me say this again.

CEO means Chief Executive Officer.

For there to be a CHIEF amongst the Officers. It means there must be other Officers.

If you are selling Gowns on WhatsApp. You are a Trader. That's what you are."

"If you are selling Wigs, shoes and the likes on WhatsApp. You are a Trader. That's what you are.

It doesnt take anything from your Enterprenuership Journey but common, we are abusing the word CEO."

She explained why those people aren't CEOs. Now can you explain why you think Nigerian guys aren't programmers? Because even the best coders encounter issues. I'd like to hear your reason for this bile.

Traders? It's local. Even in accounting, trading, profit and loss account was changed to income statementcheesy. Even in Victoria island, water corporation road was changed to corporate drivecheesy. Come up with something better, trader is a "no."
