i was thinking of starting similar thread, so i'm hoping to share from this.
I have 200k, and wish to start a business. I'v been eying candle production, please if anyone knows anything about candle production, feel free to give me some tips as regards acquiring the plant and how competitive is the market.
I've also thut of starting a computer training institute, but i need something i can do part time as i'm presently employed (not GAINFULLY EMPLOYED)

Distribution is key when you are a manufacturer. You need to look into this grey area.

U can as well invest on education, or u can buy n sell land, u can also open a provision store, beta still u can open a CHURCH, n call it "e dey happen ministries", ur members go yakpa gaan, I.J.K ooo, but put God first sha,

Buying and selling is not the best in Nigeria. Rendering services pays a lot. Think of marketable services you can render to Nigerians then you are in money.

Laundry services and u can try cleaning offices, banks, factories on contract by employin workers. U can also provide ad-hoc workers 4 factories on contract basis. By and sell scrap, anythin cald scrap. Supply plantain to al dis chip makers, or make botld water as dis sells wel in traffic. I can go on and on. 200k wuld effectively start u up. I av many cases wer d above workd.

Photography: Get a camera n printer n start a photography job or u can establish a photographer n get ur returns.
Tailoring: bcom a tailor or u establish an hardworking young tailor and get your returns.
Buying and selling: check around you and see d needs of people that are scarce in supply. Then buy and Sell the scarce needs.
