It is not and it is at the same time. Let men of the police force and other uniformed security agencies fear the people a bit. Their high morale over the years is why unchecked extra judicial killings and police brutality have been soaring year after year.

You would think you have heard enough of oppression only to learn a new one; prison warders collecting bribes on roads.

Let them walk among those they are supposed to watch over and protect with fear. You are called to serve, not to oppress.

Na wa ọ. Even prison warders are collecting bribe. It's like this #EndSars didn't touch or move them a bit as lagos police have started misbehaving like before.

Because the 'Powers that be' at AsoRock has shown support for the Soldiers killing at Lekki Tollgate, this has further emboldened the Security Forces to act in an even worse manner than they used to do before the #EndSARS Protests.
There are many videos online, shot by people from their windows, showing SUMMARY EXECUTION of Citizens, just after the Lekki Tollgate Shooting, by Policemen who are venting their anger on Citizens. We see Videos of soldiers brutalising Nigerians and even the President was running his mouth that 'He would not allow such Protest to happen again'! Is he God?
The Brutality just got worse.

l am not against Hoodlums and Criminals being shot IN THE LEG or anywhere that wont result in immediate death because only the Court should pass a Death sentence but No Police should just be killing Citizens just to vent anger or for fun or just because he refused to commit an unlawful act like bribery.

because road safety and VIO do not ask you for #100 they ask for thousands. Have you met those guys on the road while driving? The police is weak because nobody wants to protect the image of the force, they are only concerned about their lives thereby abandoning the building and properties at the slightest opportunity.
