Join the HIV help groups. They will connect you to the benefits for those living with HIV. I also know they do give them free drug.

There's free counselling and anti-retrovirals (either free or heavily subsidized) @ most fmc's and health centers around the country.

I could find out and provide more specific details if your interested.

Thank you for this responses, you wunt know how far it will go to helping those that have this disease but lack information on how to controle it to know what to do and whom to talk to.

Recently I have had worse than the major and minor syntoms of HIV however I have gone through Hiv 1&2 and all resulted negetive but am still scared however now I have considered myself a HIV+ person cos this thing is seriously stong on me than I can bear and that it can not hiv.

So whoever has the info should share it. This thing does not come only through sex so those having it should not be treated with disdain.

This is the stigmatization we are talking about. No one has a right to ask another person that question because it is a confidential matter. I think only doctors have the right to ask.

Why do you want to know the WHOLE TRUTH about someone's HIV status?

The truth is Everybody has HIV/AIDS. The only difference is that some are positive while some are negative. If you are positive, be positive with your life. If you are negative, maintain your negative status.

guys just so u know, hiv is the biggest scam in the world, it is just a harmless passenger virus, a dead tissue.

See, I have not presented myself a perfect person, however I had a clipper cut 2months ago but that is not the issue HIV is hiv.
My concern is life after being tested posetive.
Or would it be beter sharing it so every other person gets it? which is not right!!!

Are you saying that Aids is not caused by Hiv? or that there is nothing like Hiv at all.

hiv=aids has never been proven, the elisa test done in nigeria is not reliable. i just did research on the net and the whole made sense. you are perfectly healthy, then u go for a hiv test, u tested +ve, depression sets in, u are hooked on poisinous drugs, u cant eat, offcourse u will look sick and die.

Those with Hiv should not be seen as a reproach it is not something anybody will wish him/herself.
Just put your self in their shue, probably for the reason of an acedent one gets unfortunate and got infected, how many eople are you going to explain to that it wasn't through sex. so lets leave this stigma thing and thing the way forward.

I dont know since I am not HIV+ive.

But I have heard about subsidized anti-retroviral drugs and maybe even free drugs as well.

You best bet is to check with your local health Center or preferably a teaching Hospital.

HIV positive people get some free drugs from Govt hospitals. While they get the main drugs free, they still need to buy some drugs on their own when there is no stock in the hospital. but the govt support is very helpful.

Get another HIV test from another test centre. cases of false positive and false negative results do occur periodically.

the earlier you believe the existence of HIV and protect yourself, the better for you. These conspiracy theories will help no one. People are living with the disease.

Have been so sick for good two months and almost all the sickness in the world so much that at a point my doctor was expressing fare that it could be hiv but when I was diagnosed it was negetive buh this same subject came to my mind can I afford to manage this hiv thing alone if i had tested posetive.
