I was careless with my account and someone hacked it. I raised alarm when I was alerted. For that I am very sorry and wish I could do something.

You were also not very careful before you made the transaction. You went as far as calling and hearing a guy pick up. You fell for someone who said his vouch was deleted. Take some responsibility for that.

Again, it is a very unsavory situation and I am really sorry it happened to you.

I am also on Fiverr, with 2 accounts and I don't even have any withdrawal account. I use didymario7 for all my transactions and he can corroborate it. If I had an account why would I need an exchanger up until last week?

Wait boss hold on. Its paypal. From what i can see, the scammer or impersonator will not get the money till 30th of september, and this is just 24th. Jidobaba you still have 6 days to do a dispute, do a charge back and contact paypal that the funds were unauthorized transaction. A case of scam happened to me with the scammer dinar, and in less than 1 week from dispute, paypal refunded the money from his account sharp sharp. Its how paypal works, its not easy to steal using their medium... DO A CHARGEBACK OR DISPUTE and if you don't get a refund by paypal because the funds will be on Hold in the person's account, if no refund, then bring the matter back to nairaland after 30th or so and Mynd44 can do a full refund for you

Please jidobaba and skitkid2, consider this route. I am not familiar with PayPal but if this can work, please report it as soon as possible.
