I had it and this is how I cured mine.

First in my case I had to find a good sitting position which didn’t put stress on left side of my Anus( the affected part)

And I made toilet use very brisk as prolonged sitting would make things worse .

I ate healthy and all but didn’t work

It was simple malaria treatment on the first day that solved everything

If you're not for long term then reduce your exposure in the market.

One of the things the circuit breaker could cause. The bull tried small, for 2 and half months.........results or renewed interests should bring some stability.......

Though volumes are still much but it's more in the reverse.......

should we still be expecting january bull like this

Family / Re: Why Your Diasporan Friends And Family Do Not Send You Money When You Ask. by samzepaparazi: 6:33pm On May 31, 2020
rentAcock:
Abroad people call me every weekend asking me to send money (not bragging). Many of them are frustrated over there. They work long hours including overtime but the government takes federal, state, city, social security, medicare, medicaid and disability taxes. On top of that, when they buy biscuit, they will still take sales tax. They pay exorbitant rent; those who "own" homes are locked in a loan repayment for 30yrs of which they still have to pay annual taxes for their house. Phone bill can cost over $60 per line, cable $120, internet $80 and they still pay tax on top of it. Burger and chips with soft drink can easily cost you $16 plus tax.

Sure some folks are making over $100,000 theoretically especially healthcare workers in expensive states like California and new York, but by the time they deduct all those taxes from their check, they are left with just $40,000. Then they still have to pay more taxes on every thing they buy. That's not life. It's like a rat wheel, oscillating but not making any progress. I have a cousin who was in the same situation in America, after 10yrs working as a social worker, he returned home and we started up a business. He still regrets all the years he spent slaving away in America. Today, he travels the world on vacation and visiting places he didn't even have time to visit when he was living abroad. It's not too late for Nigerians living abroad to return home; you can make it big here with less stress and you will extend your life span.

This was true before 2015 buhari regime.

I believe the dollar was still N150.

I always told my friends that it was better living in Nigeria .
But this is not the case today. I remember back then my relatives earned about 100k dollars, but my folks still sent them money from Nigeria for some bills. They lived in Connecticut at the time.

Before now, you all you earned was 500k that would have been over 3000 dollars.
1 million was over 6000 dollars.

If you make 100,000 dollars in the US, that places you among the top earners. Infact some articles place you as high class.

$100k was just N15 million.

Pure water money in Nigeria for many business men back then.

Now 15m is not even half of 100k dollars.

So I doubt people in Nigeria will be sending people abroad money now. Things have turned the other way round

U mean u haven't sold down(even if its a part of ur holding) since then?
Are u sure u have not been taking "more than the required dose of patience"?
Sometimes u need to sell a stock when it rides up to a great premium above ur entry price and buy back when u see it "persecuted" for no just cause.
"The reason why discerning men sometimes fight and run away, is so they could live to fight another day" wink cheesy grin

While WEMA is a great pick @ the current mkt price, take note to learn from the writings herein.
The KEY is NOT with having the required PATIENCE, but having the RIGHT DOSE OF IT !!

"In the stock market, the BRAVE ONES often "fight and continue to do so", but the SHREWD ONES know when to "fight on" and when to "fight and run away".
...the problem is that the market usually prefer to award "the WINNING medal" to the latter group"
~Sinclair

"When the stock market request for 'a drink' from u, give to it but ONLY if its a sound but cheap one.
...and when it offers u 'a drink', take a sip, then drink a bit more but try NOT to get intoxicated.
It's a great way to benefit more from 'him' over TIME."
~Sinclair

"If ur answer to weather u've experienced more losses than wins in the stock market is YES.
Then FIND OUT if ur answer to weather u've grown with different INSIGHT at different STAGES of ur development is also a YES.
...but before then, ENSURE that that growth was BUILT on the REQUIRED FOUNDATION."
~Sinclair

"If u plan well ur VISION, u will often times execute ur MISSION. But in between that planning and execution MUST come KNOWLEDGE, STRATEGY and DISERNMENT.
...otherwise u might well be 'a prisoner of war' to the stock market and the intelligent few in it."
~Sinclair

"If u want to KNOW if u can SUCCEED in the stock market, then 1st find out where u fall in between SMART, INTELLIGENT and DISCERNING.
...but remember that the market has been CONFIGURED to have and work with all 3 attribute as a collective."
~Sinclair

"The market will sometimes present a discerning investor with 'souvenirs'.
...often times, they are even 'bigger gifts' for lesser monies.
The problem however, is with knowing when to indulge it on an exchange.
...for therein lies ur pathway to success !!"
~Sinclair

Do well to note these 6 nuggets. It will help u !!

It hasn't been my intention to stay in this long. I spent a good part of 2019 averaging down and in the process acquired a lot of units cos I refused to let my 100% diamond bank loot go just like that.

Family / Re: Are Best Friends Worth It? Mine Abandoned Me In The Streets Of A Foreign Country by samzepaparazi: 8:23pm On May 18, 2020
slyfox35:
Best friends or closest friends as some people term it is quite normal in the life of 80% of world population, I had one too.

We grew up as teens together, matured as adults together, he came to our house always and ate all his meals with us. My mom was really nice to him when she was alive. He wore my clothes and never returned them. I did not ask because my parents always provided for me although they were average citizens.

Then the worst thing in my life happened. I lost both my parents within the space of four years.
Things turned downhill for me (orphans do suffer a lot.. Too much suffering for you to believe there is even God in heaven who takes care of the fatherless and motherless).

My friend travelled to an African country. He kept telling me to come over there to work that things are better there. I kept declining but after a year of constant pressure, I decided to man up, packed my bags and travelled to meet him.

Guess what? I did not stay up to 5 days with him!!!

His attitude changed by the second day, he yells at me at every given opportunity, from his best friend, I turned to his boy, the heat he was given me was so bad that when he leaves the house and he comes back, I get scared just by hearing his footsteps. I virtually turned to a nonentity to him. I had no money on me because the little I had left, he collected it when I arrived. I knew no one, I felt so miserable and alone and I started regretting why I left Nigeria.

On the fifth day ,I woke up early in the morning and shook him up. I don’t know what got into me (but I am glad it did), I told him I can’t stay with him anymore and I want to leave. He did not even feel bad about this, he did not think of the fact that I know nothing and nowhere in this country. He let me go.

I packed my bag amid tears and went into the street. Mind you, I had no one to call back in Nigeria... It was tough on me but as a naija guy and as God will have it, I did not spend even a night on the streets. I was shocked that a total stranger took me in, clothed and fed me. He taught me everything he knows. I worked for 6 months and was able to make 2 million Naira. This was like a dream to me (If you get money ehn, to praise God Dey sweet o)

I came back to Nigeria, rented an apartment, furnished it and continued working from here.

This so called best friend of mine saw my posts and pictures on Facebook and video called me to check on me (I guess his eyes did not believe what he was seeing) he asked me if I am in a hotel, I said no, I am in my apartment. He was shocked (me I nor keep any grudge against you) he told me he was coming to Nigeria and that I should please forgive him and forget everything that happened. I told him I can forgive but can’t forget.

What surprised me most are this exact words he said “my guy, if I come, na your house I go relax first abeg”

Now my fellow Nairalanders, I am asking, how should I go about this?

I have forgiven him but should I allow him into my home?

I think you should find a good excuse for him not to stay.

Tell him you woman is around or you live with someone.

The two. These kind of people are best kept as beer parlour friends. That is to say, you guys can merry together outside, meet and have good laughs together outside but should never be more than that.

They will wreck you.
They always want to borrow money with the intention of never paying back.
They always want to bring you back to their level.
Trust me UNRELIABLE friends will destroy you both financially and emotionally.

I've had similar friends in the past.
You do everything for them, but they always have an excuse why they couldn't do something for you and most times are always little things.

A simple example. Hi Mr x please on your way home, can you branch at Bleep place to help pick up something for me.

He will say ok. You call moments later. He will give an excuse. Meanwhile you could have made other plans if you knew he won't do it. He has slowed you down.

If they can't do little things for you, they will never do big.

Two important words. Reliability and Credibility should never be taken for granted.

ajl:
0 to 20%? Obviously this poster is a Nigerian. How in heaven could one expect your car to be worth 20% of total value of your asset? Except you use your car for business and generate income from it, it should be less than 10% for a typical every day people.

For most folks, your car is a liability that depreciate in value with time. Imagine you bought a new car few minutes ago and use drive it home but decided to return it following day. Do you think the dealer will take it from you at the price as the sale price?

So if you have 5m you must not buy a car then.

Good cars start from 1.5 tokunbo
That won't give you problems

I think 20% is the rule of thumb, cars are depreciating assets so don't overdo it if you can't afford it

I have a question
Why do companies give their employees cars that cost more than their annual income then
