I'm not sure how Nigerian law is written, but usually if a child is born in wedlock, whether a man biologically fathered the child or not, he is the father. This is to protect children from being used and abused in adult disputes.

Contesting paternity in a marriage is usually difficult. This is not because the courts are unaware of the lack of fidelity in most cases, but because the law is biased toward protecting the child from hardship and uncertainty.

So unless Mohbad himself has successfully disputed his paternity of his alleged son, I don't see how his father, who obviously has a financial interest, can or should be legally successful.
