pstadabi: Sorry for the delay of my testimony...i was totally drunk yesterday ....my E-Family yesterday was tougher than ever its only three window that interview yesterday but window 16 that devil white lady and window 15 that tallest talker-thief white guy was busy denying pple..... well i just thank God for divine mercy that work for me yesterday.....Here is the interview goes... we were called at 7am and they started there normally security check....my pple Yankee security is too tight we just dey go frm one check point to another like say person carry exhibit.. ...After the successful of the security checking which is face one i proceed to the main hall and my number was called at window 20 where a black Nigerian guy was attending to me ...then after that i proceed to pay my money which is 330 dollar... then i finished those one which is face two as usual then i went to sit waiting for my number to be called..... the fist window that started is that God fearing white guy in window 14... i swear the guy na God sent to nigeria ...and after window 15 joined him and later that witch lady window 16 jst dey appear like invisble...To God be the glory my number was beep at window 14..i beg my body shake first ooooooooo...so here is the interview

(N:B, They are a family of 4, father, mother, son (12)and daughter (15.5), I will just say the basics since I wasn't there and was just told what the questions are.

CO: How are you related to the person you will be staying with in Al
Aunt: He is my sister's son (That was my younger brother she was talking about)
And that was it! she couldn't believe he was just going to ask her 3 questions and asked her hubby similar questions and finito!

Am trying to help them get tickets online and boy it is so EXPENSIVE!! So far i have gotten $2,350 per person via United, which is the cheapest so far.
Departing: Lagos,LOS (August 9th)to Huntsville, HSV
Return Date: (October 9th).
Tickets from Nigeria are quite expensive, because i wouldn't spend half of that from here, but oh well.. Please is there anyway i can get it cheaper? Because right now the cost of tickets alone is almost ($10,000) ..

am havin same issues cos I and my family will be headin to Mississippi by d Grace of God and its $2,650 per head so I have resolved to fly to Texas which is about $1000 and take anoda flight for about $300 to Jackson Mississippi..... They shud try flyin to a popular city wit cheaper ticket and connect from there...

simayanki4real: The 5 of them applied for immigrant visa.
1) Two couples were denied for failure to prove that they had a sound relationship together.
2) A set of kids 2boys (Not DV selectees) were placed on A.P because they could not prove their relationship with their dad.
3) A guy was disqualified because the resident country in his inital EDV was Northern Ireland, and since he has never been there...was disqualified without interview.
4) A married woman was disqualified because she is married with two (2) kids but entered the EDV as single, & the forms sent to KCC as single. According to the CO, the DV rules states a married person must leave with his/her family members...so she was disqualified
5) A lady was disqualified (though not a DV selectee) for not being able to prove her relationship with her host.

Please married couples should go with enough pictures, and rehearse with your spouse everything about your marriage, dates, times & people in your photos. I noticed that married couples are scrutinized seriously, they have the longest interviews. Please prepare very well & the visa is yours!

D guy dat selected Northern Island, I'm very sure it was browser Cursor error cos N is also for Nigeria so he probabely thot he he clicked on Nigeria.... Spoondar: Gentiger and other forum friends, i have this friend of mine who got selected and he is yet to get current in june i hope so. His issue is that he insist in marrying his girlfriend they've dated for 5yrs now, currently she might be 2 months old pregnant for him. When he entered the eDv he entered single, sent forms to KCC as single and now he is determined to marry the lady and fill the forms again to include her. I have warned him but he is really thorn and doesnt know what to do. Kindly give me the best answers for me to copy them and paste to him to read from you people, thanks.

All I can say is dat its a 50-50 chance.... Cos in as much as marriage after selection is considered questionable...there is no law dat says u can't get married after being selected.....its up to him to decide wat to do, but he bear d 50-50 odd in mind...... My opinion..
