Could u believe that all this happened just 1km to an army and police check point. We were in the mosque around 8:30 when we started hearing gun shot and loud explosion about 2 to be precise. Things later calmed down but around 12am another loud explosion was heard....

I am Gabonese, an I think also like you on the situation of security in North of Nigeria.

Thank God I left Kano around 4pm yesterday for Lagos. I was shocked to hear of the bombing this morning. There was a killing a guy in Kano on Friday night by men suspected to be boko haram which created fear in my mind as a first timer in Kano.

This madam got to stop.
