ola_pluto: She should be happy to win her 1st fight, talk less of winning gold. She's not Nigeria's best boxer. She was only lucky at the qualification in China. A younger boxer in weight class than her, Kehinde Obareh always spars her well. Please expect nothing from this lady. She's all talks. Our first medal contender is Mariam Usman in Weightlifting +77kg women.
Who says she Nigerian best boxer. Right now, she is Nigerian best female under 75kg boxer. kehinde and Agu are not even in the same weight class. why compare them. Look, seriously that girl will beat up some male boxers. I wish her luck.

She should be satisfied to win her 1st battle, discuss less of successful silver. She is not Nigeria's best fighter. She was only fortunate at the certification in Chinese suppliers. A youthful fighter in bodyweight category than her, Kehinde Obareh always spars her well.

The moment Head-guards were introduced into Olympic and commonwealth boxing i knew that our chances of winning medals hence forth was going to be herculean. Judging controversies have been an intrinsic part of Boxing. Indeed, wherever it has been reliant on humans to adjudicate in competitions, objectivity has been a bone of contention. Before head-guards in Olympic boxing, African boxers always enjoyed the possibility of putting the outcome of a contest beyond the reach of judges prejudices by knocking out an opponent or bartering the opponent to a state of incontrovertible defeat. Head-guards have precluded that option (largely) and so African /Black boxes are these days at the mercy of Judges.
