True, that might explain why there is an increase in one chance robberies in Abuja

berem: Seems the minister have not heard of the word "migration".how do you intend to plan a federal capital territory to accomodate only 1million people? And morever its not meant for the common man! What a disgusting statement.

chucky234: Haba Mr. minister, how can a sane man wake up and draft a master plan that will accommodate only the upper class.Who will be responsible for maintenance of the city or would the upper class rich men do the work of cleanners, security men, gardeners, toilet draining, taxi drivers,mechanics,technicians,plumbers,e.t.c,maybe those common man who handles such ordinary but important jobs will shuttle between Lagos and Abuja.
These ministers with their poor sense of reasoning sef, haba na wen dem go stop to dey make silly utterances for public.

See your life too? After you will start to post rubbish like you are educated. You cant even understand a simple article. Or you dont know how to read? Illiterate!

Must you abuse people, why can't you be constructive with your criticism? You spoilt my morning with your destructive criticism which was unnecessary and uncalled for to say the least. If you don't agree with someone's view, just make it known to them in a nice and polite way.

Thanks

But I think the emphasis should be on trying to open up the satellite towns, like he said. The rail project should not be limited to the city proper but should expand to the satellite areas (Karu, Nyanya, Mararaba and co). I also believe the people of the FCT should be allowed to elect a mayor. Let them have someone who is directly accountable to them rather than reporting to the president.

Good idea. The FCT should start the transition from being a project to a city. Its needs an independent government and this grow organically. Then the needs ad aspirations of the people will be truly me. Right now its just the playground for the elites who own and control everything including the lifespan of the common man. Pity.
