Did mine in Abuja last week, let himjust get ready it is alrite.let him know about reforms in the banking sector, reason why he wants to work with the bank,dress neatly preferably black or blue suit,white shirt and nice tie, and above all let him pray for God's divine favor.

hi nairalanders,i wrote my test in kano (dec 1st) ,checked my result yesterday and i am among those that made it through.Pls does anyone have sufficient info on the interview and the subsequent steps that will follow.

Where did U receive ur medical letter b4 proceeding to Havana? Pls we need concrete info about dis training and not speculations.

In addition, study ur CV properly, hav know of ur course of study and University, place of primary assignment and duties, and a general knowledge of ur state of service, origin and other places u hav been. Have knowledge of the bank, management, product and services, etc. Also know your national and international current affairs: US Elections, Kenya crisis, Chad, etc

Be prepared for anything cos questions could come from anywhere, just be on the alert, be frank, smile and show confidence. Dont forget to pray for God's grace.

@ BRUCE I'm not speculating but trying to share info with people who may need it about the position of things. I may refrain from posting relevant info henceforth.

I wrote my test on Nov. 17th 08 in lagos, interviewed Tuesday, 29th Jan. proceeded for medicals on Tuesday 5th Feb. at Havana specialist hospital. So who is speculating?

Please could anyone supply the time frame from been called for interview and then contacted for medicals, am having my interview in abj, and dont reside there, want to know how to move, those at abuja center that have done their interview should please respond, urgent

we in Bauchi North EAST region did our interview on the 7th of feb 2008 and medical on the 8th of feb.

guys long thing dey oh! information made known to me points to training school call coming in in the last week of Feb or early March. we Jos peeps that have been waiting since Jan 18th will have to wait a little more. so you all had better grab a book, sit back and relax, just make yourself useful till then and stay out of trouble. cheers.

Brother take it easy for I didnt mean any harm. You said you heard, and lastly asked: "Any contrary information?" That implies you are not sure.
Besides, I only said we need concrete info not speculations about when training will commence in order to stop giving people false hope and impression.

That should not make you to stop doing good and helping the house if you can.

we in Abuja center just started our medicals yesterday and it will run thru friday this week.hope to be called soon for training.pls is the training exercise going to take place the same time for allthe various regions.

Pls is there anybody in the house who did INTERCONTINENTAL BANK INTERVIEW on MONDAY 4th of february? have ubeen called for medical? i did mine on that day but have not been called for medical. i called the HR and i was told they will get back to me. any info pls help

seems IBPLC are on some end of the year financial statement ish. so the earliest they might have time for us is second week of march. patience brethren.

training school to start march 10th. so the calls (especially for we Jos region) should come in next week. it's what i was told but i just might be wrong. it's not bad to be optimistic though.

i guess i was right. on one hand two other Jos hopefuls i know were also "called" today (actually received a customized text from IBPLC) to resume training on monday 10th (didn't say where it'll hold though). on the other hand five others including myself are still waiting. it appears to be a batch thing. damn i hate it when that happens, might have to wait for another two weeks .

By the way congrats Bruce, your over 6 months of waiting wasn't in vain (people make una no fear oh, he sort of deferred his training).

I'm a lagos hopeful, I'm yet to be contacted. What could be responsible?
