These rules are not new. Mavor: So is nairaland now a religious site or is your pastor disturbing you? Why does free speech have to be censored? The old nairaland doesn't use to be so restrictive and suffocating. I wonder where you are getting these new ideas from. Foreign discussion sites like nairaland which exists in free societies are not like this. As far as I am concerned, if someone comes here and sees something he or she doesn't like,then the person should get the fu<k out. Free society. No one forced you to come here. Hope the popularity of your site is not getting to you bro. If I come here and find out that I can't have an adult discussion or I must be chaperoned, I go just waka. Pure and simple. Here we go again with chasing shadows. Instead of you to tackle the most important issue of tribalism, you're looking for whom to ban because of s*exual comments even though you created a section(s*exuality) for people to post dirty talk and you want to ban them for that? How about you guys create a special thread where all the Nairaland rules will be explicit and not a situation where over-zelous mods like Mukina and sexkills will ban people ujsing their discretion thereby insulting the intelligibility of posters on this forum. You can't ban when there are no laws guiding it. |

Is it not possible to remove a section of nairaland frm google search results, and that of other search engine? Am saying this coz i dnt see the essence of se*xuality section when certain words are still censored in that section. |

afam4eva: Seun gets money from google adverts. If those words appear on nairaland google will ban nairaland = no money for Seun. The sexuality section is therefore hidden from google, while the word censor prevents you from using those words on the open forum. You'll get banned if you bypass the word censor. 4 Likes |

Since The Mods are fellow Nairaland members, I'd Suggest an election is made...... and non performing/ partial mods are voted out. After all we are in a democracy............. Cause if the mods have been doing their work well all this complaints will not come up....... and perhaps an increase in the number of mods might also help as 1 or 2 mods might not be enough for a section 1 Like |
