Enjoy bed after 4-6weeks. It is not a rule of thumb anyway. Just enjoy yourself when you're most comfortable doing it.

You really may not have any problem,a little shake off is necessary. Changes could be idiopathic or stressors or organic or probably from any medications once used within your ovulation or of period expectation. If it is functional it will certainly go back to your normal rhythm. Fluctuations will always follow slowly progressive menstrual problems, it is only a matter of time. Be at a watch, whatever comes seek help from a physical doctor should it get worse.

Just PID?! And I am sure this hasn't led to the occlusion of her uterine tubes. If not a check for patency is necessary.
Profiling of her reproductive hormones may be helpful to confirm any issue with ovulation such as may lead to fertility insufficiency.
She might just be doing well, and here it falls back to you to have an analysis of your semen.
And if all is well, be patient and never bother too much about pregnancy. It will just show up!

Alright. It is too early still to diagnosed a cause to it even though it might have happened consecutively.I will advice you watch your menstrual cycle abit further to see if it can go back to what it was. During this period, carefully try to improve in yourself by reducing stress(psychological, exercises, studies, job etc) exacerbation. You may also watch out if this has happened due to some diet exposure too or being anorexic.
Don't also forget that some medications can alter menstrual cycle, some individually and others by effect.
Should it remain this way with no secondary complaint, you may have to accept the new cycle count which may not be seen as a case of premature menstruation.

Hello Doc,
What can be wrong and how do i treat having a dirty brown menstrual flow.
A normal menstruation should cover red-brown with dark fading. However, it still varies with every female in a normal health condition.
The term,"dirty",should be the problem here. Can you explain what you see that makes you think it is not normal?

However, if the above carries with uterine remains that comes with its shedding, then it is nothing to bother much about. This is normal and should be expected to some degree. If this experience is new,I will kindly advise you don't bother about it but if has been on for a long time followed by any health complaint of any sort, kindly reach out to a doctor for help.
Re: Doctor In The House:Obstetrics And Gynecology by kayvine4u: 8:57pm On Jan 07, 2019
Its been on for long plus very scanty flow but no other health complaints following it. I have 2 kids already so I'm not looking to have more babies. i suppose i'll take ur word and no worry much about it then. Cheers.

Perhaps, I permit you to worry over this. I will guide you not to bother much about this until a ultrasound has confirm changes to the uterine lining or bodies in association.
You may try to discuss this out with a doctor to see if there is any need to have your reproductive hormones profiled.

Moreover, you are yet to tell how dirty this period of yours is. Just be in the right mind, eat well and be happy. Things happen faster and better this way.

From my point of consideration you may need to put the clomid use to a hold...

Doctors in the house or if there is anybody going through this, I need help

I have been in pains for almost two years now, a pain from my middle abdomen down to my legs that doesn't go no matter the pain relieving drug used, burning feeling in my ovaries, even all my lower abdomen. Have done several ultrasound that reveals nothing, carried out hormone profile test too but my doctor suspect endometriosis. I was placed on combination 3 for months with no improvement, the pain didn't go and the constant bleeding with clots still persist.

The drug was changed to primolut, it helped with bleeding but not with this killing pain

Please, I want to know if lapaproscopy to determine the presence of endometriosis and excision surgery can be done the same day. Hospital in Nigeria where it can be done and the cost?

Have been living for this pain day in day out, been a burden to alot of people because of no work and illness. I want to know if I still have the chance to be free from this pain. Tired of living this life

You must have really gone through a lot and most time in our troubles we almost wish ease in death than being such an irk to others and ourselves. That's is life, dear. However, nothing seems to make our problems last long than the spirit we put on it. It always get worse with a bad energy in display, it always appear endless with futile complaints and it keeps on persisting with a low spirit.
No matter what your pain now may be never be tired of living life. Be strong! Talk and appear positive always.

You have a good chance of ending or reducing this pain if the cause of it is well diagnosed and treated.
First of all, I need you to know that pain relievers reduces pain. Perhaps, to a degree to which you think they helps in stopping it but not good enough to treat the cause of pain. This is only for management.

What have been the results of the ultrasound done your on pelvis(uterus and adnexa) and abdomen(vermiforme appendix and colon) ?

What are also the result of the various hormone profiling you have covered?

What blood work on labs have you done to relate to your condition?

I think a surgery done to remove the endometriosis on that same day after a Laparoscopic confirmation only depends on the site where it is seen. Another reason for delay is the choice to know your blood works before a surgery can be done.

This procedure can be done in most university teaching hospitals and in several specialist clinic. Cost of surgery largely depends on place of choice and the specialist.

Thanks, think have done like five different ultrasound. Everything seems normal except 1.7cm uterine fibroid which the doctor said it's too small to be removed and can't be the cause of the pain.

The first hormone profile I did last year, the doctor said it was normal. I repeated it some days back after I saw another doctor, he said I have pcos though I don't have the physical features of someone having it

Have taken different drugs from pregabalin, amitripriline, dolometa b, naproxen, diclofenac and many more I don't want to mention. Even did mri of the spine when the pain first started, when they thought I had problem with the spine but the result came out okay

I just want some relieve from this pain

To diagnose endometriosis, ultrasound may not be good enough. The idea of a laparoscopy is quite okay. And I think if this endometriosis is recently diagnosed, you really have to properly managed it to avoid other serious consequences in addition to your pain.
What were the result of the profiling like that led to the doctor implicating a PCOS?

Age range?

When do you start having this problem?
Worsened during menstruation or not?
Worsened during urination or not?
Worsened during using the toilet or not?

History of abortion?
History of STDs/PID?
Given to children?

Does this pain subsides with rest or not?
When does it normally come on it own?

How does it affect your daily output?
What other abdominal complaint associate with it?

Does this pain continues from the pelvis, your thigh and runs to your leg?
What about your arms?

Dizziness?
Lightheadedness?
Increase urge to pass urine?
Vomiting?
Nausea?
Fainting?

Am 27 years, still single. The pain in my legs has been there for years since when I was still in school but only feel it once in a while at night then and it goes when I rest. This pain became intense in 2016 and since then have been living for the pain.

The doctor said I have pcos because he was saying the ratio of the two of the hormone was 2 ratio 1, I don't know what he was talking about.

I once had pid, I was passing urine. I used almost all known antibiotics, it didn't stop. Only rocephin (not sure of the spelling) injection on the vein for 5 days cured it

I never done abortion nor gotten pregnant, never had s*x before, more reason the gynecologist am seeing now doesn't want to do laparoscopy for me. He said he wouldn't want to tamper with me. I said he should do it but he is hesitant.

The pain runs from lower abdomen, my tights, legs even to my feet and toes. The only time I feel a little bit better is when I'm just waking up in the morning, walking round the house for mins, the pain starts again

If this is all about you and all that is enough to necessitate a Laparoscopy then he should have it done. In fact, what I think should be a problem here should be the pain due to cramping which may be a little done away with since on not having done sex(or if sex is avoided some weeks before it was planned), and then your normal pain discomfort.

Should he has no other complaint other than this and still reluctant to, kindly seek help from another doctor or specialist.

Let this one be a starting point. You may also discus the likelihood of conditions such as Ovarian torsion, pelvic congestion syndrome, PCOS, Cancer, IBS or even Sciatica in association or complicating with this problem of yours.

Good luck.

Hello doctors in the house
I need your help.. Started having this pain at the lower right hand side of my tummy in July last year.It stopped later on.Then by October 2018 the pain was severe..went in for a pelvic scan and a cyst was seen on my right ovary.
The size(25*30.77)mm
I was given some antibiotics and pain relief drugs.I got relieved.
Then I notice this pain comes when I am ovulating.
Went in for a scan today again and it's still same size. Right now I am feeling that pain again though milder than before.
My doctor keeps saying it will go itself and really I am tired.
I am getting married in few months time.Does this in anyway affect giving birth?
What can I use please?
I am tired already.

House please has anyone used anything that worked for ovarian cyst?..Help me o
