Okorocha even created more enemies for orlu sha.

Am watching Ihedioha and his incoming mbaise agenda.

You are not from Imo hence your divisive utterances. Okorocha has done his part and Ihedioha is expected to improve on Okorocha's achievements. If he attempts favoritism it shall be resisted as Okorocha spread development everywhere without neglecting any. As he was building a University at Nkwerre he was also building at Mbaise and Onuimo, he built new storey building primary school block in every ward of the State totalling 305, built ICT centers in all 27 LGAs, built hospital and renovated health centers in all 27 LGAs, rebuilt markets and tarred 15km of roads in all 27 LGAs. Nobody was left out.

No Imo gov ever divided Imo state more than Rochas Okorocha.
Imo state has the highest number of Election Petitions in Nigeria today, no thanks to Okorocha's Third term bid.

Okorocha in another of his grudge-against-Orlu dreams invented the idea of establishing universities upandan, without IMHA LAWS. Fools like you propagate his invention. Is Okorocha an emperor to pronounce universities in anywhere in the state without consulting people of Imo state through their IMHA?
.
Okorocha's new Universities were invented to hoodwink people of Imo state to look away from Eastern Palm University Ogboko built 100% with IMSG funds. Perhaps, Okorocha believes that incoming governor Emeka Ihedioha is a mugu.

The land on which Eastern Palm University Ogboko was built was released by native land owners on conviction that IMSU was to be located in Ogboko and surrounding communities.

Thus, Okorocha's dream of deceiving Imo state to allow Eastern Palm University belong to him is a pipe dream. If he likes, let him go to NUC and obtain University licences for every secondary school in Imo state. We dey kamkpe

To truncate IMSUTH Orlu, Okorocha started to build 27 general hospitals to be well equipped. Every Imolite, except a novice, knows that such 27 well equipped and doctors-manned health care hospital system is not practicable, not even in the richest countries of the world.

Eight years after, only about four of the 27 general hospitals are completed today, the four are around Owerri, in Owerri with FMC, in Owerri where FUTO is planning to start a new university teaching hospital.

Today, Okorocha has practically wasted the funds of IMSG trying to duplicate nearby every function of IMSUTH in Owerri, beginning from Ochiedike and other Diagnostic laboratories in Owerri, to building empty super structures at Imo specialist hospital Owerri.

Okorocha driven by old grudge against Orlu tried everything to suffocate a university teaching hospital in Orlu where IMSG and private investors invested billions of Naira.

Okorocha scrapped more than 20km of roads leading to important economic growth centers of Orlu. He dismantled the roofs of Orlu stadium, knew that it's the turn of Orlu for IMSG water supply system already existing in Okigwe and Owerri zones, but Okorocha declared that from his administration, water supply in Imo state has become a private program.

Alas, APC Secretariat in Abuja issued a statement that many of Okorocha's actions as governor were embarrassing to APC as a political party.

Okorocha now blames Nigeria for seizing a Certificate of Returns that could have made him represent Orlu zone in the Senate.
He went to APC Chairman recently, the chairman sent security aides who pushed Okorocha our of the chairman's office.

Okorocha went to president Buhari, the presidency quickly reacted by enacting a law restraining state governors from access to LGA funds.

Abagworo/Imo1stSon and other Okorocha's online sycophants clap for Okorocha who wasted/lavished more than 95% of IMSG development funds which Okorocha could spare in eight years on demolishing and rebuilding in Owerri in eight years As Okorocha made Imo state to become Owerri, about 95% of Imo state outside Owerri deteriorated, except for the few deceptive and diversionary Naira & Kobo projects of Okorocha govt outside Owerri.

This man stop giving us false story here. That Ogboko facility has been converted to imo state University of medical sciences and was one of the new universities that was approved by NUC. I'm happy with the progress made in education in Imo state. State with the highest number of state Universities. Kudos to Okorocha.

Okorocha outgoing online warriors oya defend this egbeada mess.

The Documentary Gov. Okorocha will never play on Channels TV.
This is Amakohia uncompleted flyover by Egbeada Housing Estate. The road is totally impossible at the moment. The present government under Gov. Okorocha destroyed the drainage without any replacement. The road has remained a construction site for 8 years. What else can the Governor do in 18 days?
Obvious sings of a failed Government.

What laws of IMHA established University of Medical Sciences in Ogboko? Cite the laws here or fcuck off.

What happened to 5 Star Prince Hotel slated by Okorocha govt for Orlu?

Similar 5 Star Princes Hotel slated for Okigwe has risen to a certain level, same as similar 5 star hotel budgeted for by Okorocha govt for Owerri.

Our Orlu LGA allocations are used by gov Okorocha to build federal prison in Owerri.

Photo below is what Prince Hotel Orlu was proposed to be like before the people of Imo state and their legislators.

I've been active on Nairaland for a while to understand that there things I shouldn't bother myself with.
This is a website where the people we talk about do not visit, so what we do here is to exchange ideas.
Surprisingly, some people have hijacked it for reasons best known to them. But don't let that bother you.
Just watch pictures, read and reply to reasonable comments and walk away. That's what rational people owe this forum.

You don't expect every 12 to be sane at the same time...there's always room for Judas Iscariot.

What happens on Nairaland, stays on Nairaland

Basically, what happens here has no effect whatsoever on the real people.
The Internet is big, and elections are not conducted on it.
So, people who will win elections will win, regardless of what we do or say here.
Think about these words.

If a gov proposed a project in any location, appropriated money for the project, but the project was not executed....

It's only ignoramuses who won't ask questions.

Because the ignoramuses don't see Orlu part of their state as deserving of govt attention, but they would criticize federal government of Buhari for negligence of their region.
Democracy is about what can be done, what was not done and why.

You are the only Ignoramus on this thread. I appealed and showed you reasons you should not support Rochas 2nd term bid in 2015 since you have been ranting this crap since his 1st tenure. I told you if don't like Rochas approach to governance then don't support his 2nd term bid but refused on the basis that Orlu should still be in power and that you believe that Rochas would do better. Now you are still ranting the same nonsense after all the many projects and infrastructures that Rochas did for Orlu zone. The zone that should complain of neglect during Rochas tenure is Okigwe zone not Orlu zone that Rochas gave many appointments and projects.

Liar.

I never supported Rochas Okorocha for 2nd Term in 2015.

Since 2014, many of us from Orlu area who had good eyes to see Okorocha's direction and disdain for Orlu did not stop in asking for his ouster.

Just name one development project of Rochas Okorocha in Orlu zone.

Rochas don't appoint important people from Orlu zone to govt offices, except boot shiners.

As Gov Okorocha's media sycophants continue to destroy Okorocha politics.....
Okorocha is now embarrassing Igbo with his now cry cry baby press briefings at every junction blaming nearly every body in Nigeria for his political woes.

He pretends he doesn't know that his downfall is from his Orlu senatorial zone.

For the past five years Orlu wailed that Okorocha willingly scrapped too many roads in Orlu and abandoned the roads, destroyed development projects he met in Orlu.

On social media, Okorocha sycophants would show the four streets of about 5km in all expanded in Orlu by Okorocha and say Orlu was worse before Okorocha became governor.

Okorocha sycophants never reminded the man to asphalt the scrapped roads, even after traditional elders of Orlu went to Okorocha in Owerri and begged him to complete the roads he scrapped in Orlu since 2012. Okorocha told the elders from Orlu to move down to Owerri and claim Owerri City as their own. What an insult.

Three years after, the scrapped roads in Orlu remain scrapped. Okorocha builds boulevards all over Owerri.

Okorocha crippled IMSUTH, Orlu, expands Imo specialist hospital Owerri, and says he wants to represent Orlu zone in the Senate.

Okorocha and his propaganda sycophants never think of reconciliation with Orlu, at least start by completing the scrapped roads here. Instead, they insult the wailers from Orlu. They only want to see photos of Okorocha's Owerri beautiful city.

Okorocha cannot and have never heard your cries. So, stop crying. Crying to people about orlu this and orlu that have not helped you in 8 years. Orlu is not the only community in imo state. There are hundreds of others. People of other communities are not here everyday crying about what owerri is getting that their community is not getting. My community didn't get anything from okorocha's government, but I'm very very happy that okorocha tried to open up owerri. As an igboman, owerri is the only igbo city I feel good about, even better than enugu. Like I have said a million times, no nigerian governor is capable of developing any city talkless cities. It's the truth, wether you like or not.

There's not one single comment here about what okigwe is not getting from any okigwe indigene. There's no oguta person crying that owerri is getting everything while oguta is not getting anything.

You just can't come here and start wailing and wailing everyday. This thread is not an avenue to reach those in the corridors of power. Why don't the chairman of orlu local government and it's eze's visit okorocha or call him on the phone or something. You are complaining to the wrong people. We can't help you with your complaints no matter how hard you try. Lord have mercy. Jeeeeeeeez.

I ask: how did Ofuzo not understand the absolute and unpardonable stupidity in his statement above?

Ofuzo, you mindset is like Okorocha's: most parochial.

You score F9 if you are to be tested before making you governor. Okorocha failed as a state governor.

Okorocha developed only Owerri, but Okorocha is now a persona non grata before the greater and more brilliant majority of Imo state.

By the way: who does Ofuzo think he is by telling me what I can post here and what I can't post, provided I don't offend NL's rules?

Ofuzo claimed that gov Okorocha did nothing in his possibly god-forsaken village, but praises Okorocha for developing only Owerri.
Must someone from Orlu praise Okorocha like Ofuzo? Okorocha refused to develop Orlu due to his grudges against Orlu and its people.

FYI, in 1976 when Imo state was created, there were hardly any differences in the levels of urbanization between Owerri and Orlu.

It's most foolish belief that one town in a state must be given accelerated modernization and development ahead of other towns in the same state. If you do that, the Owerri city you are building faster absorbs population and businesses from the forsaken towns. Thus, every successive gov has no choice than continue to use nearly all the funds of the state to build social infrastructures in Owerri. Common sense.
As this continues, Orlu and Okigwe dry up, can even go extinct with time.

Building Umuahia CAPITAL CITY by govs from old Bende division made Aba decay. Imo state is going the same route.

There's absolutely nothing stupid about owerri being the only igbo city I feel good about because it's the truth. Having seen world class cities around the world, the cities you have in nigeria are shitholes. I can bring my foreign friends to owerri, but, I cannot bring them anywhere near aba, for example. I will be ashamed to tell my foreign friends that my people, the igbos populated those shithole cities.

I have been posting comments here, on what needs to be done to develop igbo states, so, it's not parochial that a governor was not able to develop all the cities in his state. If you've read any of them, you would have known the absurdity of waiting for a state governor to develop a city. Cities all over the world are developed by city mayors/admnistrators, not governors. Which brings me to something you said, that made all your wailing and whining about okorocha not developing orlu very strange. You admitted that in 1976 when imo state was created, there was hardly any difference between orlu and owerri in their levels of urbanization. You have inadvertently admitted that orlu have been neglected for more than 40 years. And, we all know for a fact, that okorocha was not governor of imo state in 32 out of the 40 years. This is a very bad indictment in all your daily whining about what owerri is getting and what orlu is not getting. It seems like all the previous governors have pretty much neglected orlu.

It's also not foolish that one town is getting more development than others. Lagos and Abuja got more infrastructure development while they were capitals of nigeria. People like you claim that okorocha was a failure but your wailing and crying about all his developments in owerri proves otherwise. Like I have repeatedly said, super majorities of state governors of nigeria did not develop any cities. Umuahia indigenes are not crying about what aba is getting and aba indigenes are not crying about what umuahia is getting. Nnewi indigenes are not crying about what awka is getting and awka is not crying about what nnewi is getting. Enugu indigenes are not crying about what nsukka is getting and nsukka indigenes are not crying about what enugu is getting. The reason is not far fetched. None of those cities was rapidly developed the way okorocha developed owerri for any of them to complain who is getting what.

Now, I don't really care about your wailing and whining. I just don't get it. It absolutely doesn't make any sense here. This is the wrong fora for it. If you thought your maginalization was so bad, you should have forwarded your grievances through influential orlu stakeholders instead of coming here everyday to cry and wail.

Very very pathetic.

Okorocha didn't develop Owerri. Okorocha further beautified it. The fundamental problems Owerri people faced were not addressed. He brought statues, fountains, decorative bridges, etc but the fundamental problems facing owerri (employment, power, water) were not only ignored, by in most respects, worsened.

Employment - Abolished Keke, demolished fundamental markets, unpaid and deduced wages, confiscated land for self and family.
Power - No action taken
Water - No action taken

So if Owerri is his crown achievement, then what did he do for Owerri? There's a new city school which, again, is decorative at best.
The problem is accessing home from these forums is that beautification becomes development if you don't assess carefully
