May God have mercy on our people. I'm afraid the impact of this flood will be felt across Nigeria for years to come. I awaid the federal government's plan for disaster relief.

I really don't see whats amusing in the sorrows of some human beings who suffer a fate they have no control over...

What if you have some business or course to work in these flood prone areas in future?
I pray a recurrence doesnt happen then...

When people laugh at one side of the country that it is underdeveloped and make fun of states where casualties happen, I SMH.
What should we call this?
If this is the development and better life they are talking about, then I'll say Nigeria is a big hell hole.
It's a pity.
Or is this not the Anambra some people here boast of? This is pathetic, these people are really suffering.
Even see those kids angry

There are no mud houses in south east. Those pictures as u can see are about villages were u have poorest of the poor.Do not make a mistake in ur comparisons.

You don't expect kids whose families have been dispossessed of food, the source food, shelter, medicine, transportation to look like people living in Dangote's mansions.ok Why not try to increase ur IQ.It seems u are not very analytical

Devilish government? Nigeria government who always try to fix things from the top to the ground but the way to solve it is from the ground upward. Average nigerian recieve no benefit from the oil/petroleum we boast of, no youth unemployment benefit,no social benefit,no welfare even if is token 5000 naira monthly unemployment benefit for the youth the crime we experience today will reduce. We have Government that encourage free looting for all to the extent nothing left for the future generation to inherit the only thing available to inherit is crime and corruption . Nigerians youth wallow in poverty and have to fend for themselves in anyway available our government sold us out, crime is high as the ceiling no motivation for the youth nothing to be proud of.Oh yes they want to tackle crime yet ignored the social welfare of Nigerian youth

There are a lot of kid, over grown babies, educated illiterates on nairaland. A place is flooded, and u think it is a smart thing to go tribalistic, or tell them how under developed they are. FYI no part of nigeria is as developed as new orleans, yet flood still ravaged them. People pls grow up or at worst pretend to be grown up and matured

We are on a thread about a natural disaster that has occured in Anambra state, and is occuring in many other states and countries all over the world as we speak.....and all you can do is grin and jubilate like a total dolt?

I can see Igbo tribalists have finally made you mad......so much so that you don't know where to draw the line with your e-fights; carry on mate, and don't forget to continue laughing for no reason like a mad hatter.
