Hello house,
One of my cousins wants to apply for schools in Finland and the person helping her is requesting for an application fee of 80 Euro.
I thought applying for schools in Finland was free. And the person doesn't want to reveal the name of the school.

Please is it true that they charge for application fees.

For BSC, It’s either SAT(not all universities and applied sciences accepts it) or you take the entrance exam in Kenya, majority of schools accepts this.

Hello everyone, a group of west African students are sending a group letter to the embassy and other authorities tomorrow to communicate the current situation we’re facing. We already have about 15 people who are collaborating on this. If you’d like to be included, kindly write your name and school you gained admission from.

Hello all, pls how's the engineering field over there in Finland?
Which schools can be recommended for Mechanical or Industrial Engineering?
Is there another means of immigration without using schooling?
Is there's a pathway to becoming a citizen of Finland?

Good day everyone, according to the information on enterfinland, an applicant must have 13,440 euros at his/her disposal to for a 2 year stay. The question is can someone divide the money into 2 & apply for a year RP although the COOK program is 3 years.
Why i’m confused is that it used to be 6,720 Euros on their website which is for a year
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by gabson02(m): 9:19pm On Sep 28, 2020
..... Have you call them to ask... Cus I saw 6720 euros on their requirement
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by gabson02(m): 9:23pm On Sep 28, 2020

From what I read you can apply for a year RP with 6720 Euros but why would you go all the way to Finland to study how to be a cook? Have you thought about how you'll convince the VO that nigeria doesn't have that type of cook program?

I think you should really think about it.

Concerning your fear, upper vocational studies are the only tuition free in Finland except you are given a scholarship .
More than 6 people i know had gone through this route & they later apply for universities of Applied sciences to further their education.

It is a 3 years intensive program . The quality of teaching is far better than studying catering & hotel management in any higher institution in Nigeria.

Please read my post again, I wasn't trying to discourage him, I was just thinking about what the VO might say that's all!
