Gov.Mimiko Leads In 12 LGAs In Gubernatorial Election by Nobody: 11:28pm On Oct 20, 2012
The incumbent governor of Ondo state, Mr. Olusegun Mimiko of Labor Party (LP) is leading in 12 of the 18 local government areas of the state. He needs to win 11 local government areas to retain his position as the governor of the state.

His two main challengers, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and Mr. Olusola Oke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are performing poorly based on uncertified results received by Saharareporters from election monitors and citizen reporters on the ground in Ondo State. Mimiko also won in Akeredolu’s wards in Owo and Oke’s wards in Ilaje areas of the state.

Earlier in the day, ACN’s candidate, Mr. Akeredolu spoke to SaharaTV on the election. He told SaharaTV’s Rudolf Okonkwo that he was performing well in the election. He rejected the idea that he was losing in his ward. “The result your (Saharareporters) published was not correct,” he said. “We won in 10 of the 11 units in the ward. We have not lost the ward.”

While he did not say if he would accept wholeheartedly whatever result INEC finally announces, he pointed out that there were already reports of malpractices taking place and election materials not received at the rural parts of the state.

He restated the basis of his candidacy as the unification of the South West under the ACN. “The Labor Party is frustrating efforts to develop the South West,” Akeredolu told SaharaTV.

He really flogged and disgraced them;Tinubu and his gang. The rest states in the South West should take notice, members of the opposition parties in those states should consult the IROKO,who has brazenly demystified, trounced and disgraced Tinubu twice now,on how to free their states from the evil and thieving clutches of Tinubu
Well done IROKO for beating and shutting up Tinubu for good

It is mad stupidity to attempt to cut down an IROKO tree with a broom.Haba

The beauty of democracy in Nigeria is still in the south west. The results above shows that every contestants is surely getting their due proportion. Unlike in other places were by the incumbents swallows all the votes leaving noting at all for the others.

Think law af elasticity is working for Tinubu, he has stretch himself enough to the yield point either he goes back to his original position or go into breaking point as stated by Hooke's. Now I believe science is real & working pratically for the first time no more theories.

critical analysis of importance and uses of 'iroko' tree and broom will reveal that d broom is known to sweep very well when newly bought(elected or selected) and later wear off, become shortened n reduced performances set in -lagos example.
my people, if u know d functions and uses of iroko tree n products...eeeeeeehhh,
so,in my state of enligtened and educated ppl,it's a stupidity of d highest order trying to cut, uproot or sweep off a whole 'iroko' tree with some junkies brooms
