How Elrufai Misled Nigerians by Idokojimmy: 12:26pm On Nov 02, 2012
Iin the wake of indiscriminate bombing of some parts of the country by Boko Haram, and the attendant loss of thousands of lives and properties worth billions of Naira, well meaning Nigerians began to brainstorm on the possible reasons for this senseless attacks. Litanies of solutions were proffered by eminent personalities, and root causes of this anti- African behavior was also traced by many. While some argued that poverty necessitated the emergence of the group, others held that the problem has political and religious undertone.
One of the leading figure in this campaign was Mallam Nasir Elrufai, former FCT minister. In an interview with Newsdiary, Elrufai maintained that Boko haram has nothing to do with Islam. He also condemned those who identified Buhari as a sympathizer, a sponsor or a member. Buhari according him holds the key to national growth and development. At a different foray, Elrufai claimed that the presidency is responsible for the attacks. In his chameleonic character, Elrufai on his FaceBook page made a U-turn when he accused Christians of being behind Boko Haram attacks.
Recent events appear to have exposed this pint sized controversial politician. Few hours ago, Boko Haram declared that they are ready for dialogue, and named Gen. Buhari as the lead mediator. What a joke! This declaration has revealed the true identity of Elrufai. So can we comfortably say Buhari has a link with the group or believe Elrufai's claim that Christians are responsible? Somebody help

With this recent call for dialogue, I think Christians have been vindicated, and real figures behind the madness revealed. For Mallam, he shouldn't be taken seriously. He is suffering from political abandonment.

...In no time the truth about boko haram will unfold. I just hope the man in power will have a strong balls to punish them severely for all the atrocities they've committed. As for el rufai, he's just a noise maker *empty barrel*

Who doesn't know that El rufai is a bigot?is just so sad that the man is still moving round without any hindrance he is suppose to be in kirikiri for telling lies and inciting so many to violence,I know that his end will come soon.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I feel Mallam will bury his head in shame. A man who has made severally efforts to defend terrorism, a man who has taken up a duty to hoodwink people into believing that nothing can work in Nigeria, should not be given audience. Now that his Boss, Buhari has been identified as a mediator, let's see the story he will come up with.

this is an eye opener.though right from time immemorial,Boko Haram has been a tool used by the opposition to frustrate governments efforts.but it is now crystal that BUHARI,EL RUFAI ,MODU SHERRIF ,ZANA and their allies are behind the terrorists.
