Actually, Nigerian police are your friends but never trust them. But, if bail is free all criminals should be out of prison by now. |

Serendipity: Basically this is at best utopian and academic as it has only little practicality. At any rate, people are still being bailed for free. It's just that most people that are aware that there is a circumstantial evidence against against them, once they hear there is a possibility of their case being taken to court tend to settle it immediately because they don't want to risk being kept behind bars. Whereas some that didn't commit any crime still part with princely sum of money when our corrupt police start giving them barrage of threats. The fears of the former is justified while that of the later is not.oga by d tym u finish dat process u wuld nid 2 c a shrink |

Why do we critisise Police. Why cant we ask government if they have play their part by paying allowances to police and supply the necessary thing to police.e.g stationaries, fuel, motor maintainance. |

Re: "Police Is Your Friend And Bail Is Free", How True? by Nuzo1(m): 12:33am On Nov 05, 2012 |
Theoretically, yes. In practicality, NO! As much as we all agree that the police have become such a mess of itself, it should be noted that they are human beings and thereby will find it difficult to be friendly to stubborn, currupt and voilent Nigerians. Any supprise we have their mottos as "fire for fire" etc |

Bail is free, but it depends on the offence as well as police can be your friend. It all depends on the rendezvous. Drunkard: If u r caught driving drunk or behaving drunk thereby creating a confusion in d street or road, the police have the right to detain you. - this is done to clear out the highness in you thereby releasing you a few hours or the next day. Family conflicts- two brothers fighting or mom and dad fighting and someone calls d police . The police can detain the both of you either by separating you two or be together. That way, the spirit of fight, anger within you two must have disappeared. The police can release you out freely if you two promise not to fight anymore. This two points I wrote happened when I was with a frd as well as the 2nd point happened when I was fighting with my brother- we were detained and kept behind counter |

Billyonaire: Yes, Police is your friend, except you are a criminal fellow and Yes, bail is free when you have your lawyer by your side at the Police Station. Where d Apo Six criminal fellows? What abt other innocent souls that ve been wasted via extra-judicial killings n stray bullet incidents? What do u need to be convinced that Naija police do arrest innocent n well-to-do citizens, escort them to banks to forcefully withdraw “bail money” only to shoot them after collecting the millions from them? The Nigerian Police is ur friend if u ve political clout. Even @ that be careful.Bail is free if u ve a lawyer? Funny, huh? Ur lawyer will come more than twice,n u will remain in dia custody cos they re still investigating u. |
