See Roberto... Even Dembele have been played out of his preferred position too.

I totally believe Coutinho is waaay better than what we are seeing. He's world class. That's why I'm upset the way he's wallowing in self pity. I don't want him sold, he should step up!

I agree he should step up. But Dembele n messi are natural forward players, so they'll adapt faster to other forward positions unlike Phil coming from midfield to attack... All in all sha, he needs to improve n also needs to be played in his most preferred position.

If Coutinho faced as much clout as Dembele did, he'd have put up a transfer request. Dembele faced brutal criticism from all corners, people didn't stand up for him like they are doing for Coutinho now. Even while he was earning Barca points, he was still slandered endlessly.

Coutinho has been having it easy, and he's taking it easy. He has to improve and prove he deserves a position in the middle.

I agree coutinho isn't as psychologically strong, but personally on this thread, I never blamed Dembele. Every body has different psyche sha... Pipo has been poor, but I always like to trace problems to the root cause. It is never easy playing out of position... if you played/play the game a little, you'll know.

With Semedo at RB, the kind of confidence i feel ehn... Roberto should be the back up, or he should continue doing his jack of all trade, master of none.

Coutinho has to improve. He's been really disappointing. I'd fancy having him as Iniesta someday, Arthur as Xavi and De Jong as Busi.

Rakitic I don't have a problem with, but Vidal? I don't even see his virtual defensive contributions, only when it's time to pick up a yellow. Thing is with Valverde, i think we would never have seen Xavi, Iniesta n Busi in the middle, he would have surely favours Y.Toure or even S.Keita ahead of Busi or someone in that midfield. He has a fixed picture in his mind, the way he wants his midfield.... I've never ever seen him play with 3 fluid passers in the middle...gidigbo coach... I don't care about CDR tho...

If it's confidence on the ball between Sergi and Nelson, for me, from what I've been seeing in matches, Semedo edges Roberto on this... only passing, as per he used to be a midfielder. Semedo is faster, a better dribbler, not scared to receive the ball, has better confidence... It's not like Roberto makes tons of assists when the opponents name isn't Madrid anyways.
