Rashford is not "Barca-suited"

Many good players came to this team and left.. "Coutinho and Griezmann" to mention a few.

They are good players but didn't succeed as much in Barca.

If he is Barca suited, I would say that from the beginning.

He and Roony are on same level.. and two goals against newscastle can't convince me.

He ain't benching anybody in this team. Raphinha, Yamal, Lewandowski and Torress are our attackers. He should remain a backup.

Without Rashford, you'd be 1 point or 0 point on the UCL table, he might not be our best attacker, but for a player that's come into a new league and new team, he's doing well. Him and Raphinha provides something different from our other attackers and that's directness, we have enough technical men too, the mix makes for a balanced team.

We won't be this lucky next season if Madrid find form. Matter of fact, with how complacent, profligate and lethargic we've been, especially in front of goal, our only saving grace in this La liga run in is that Real is so messed up. I hope they reconsider and try to bring a striker who can finish and is younger.

Tbh, if you notice our finishing this season, it's been very poor.
We've just been helped by the fact that we create so many chances and Raph has stepped up finishing wise. We need a young and vibrant finisher heading into next season please, not Lewa or Shark(should out to them btw).

It is always Messi, trying to be the victim while he is part of the villain. Players shouldn't be seen to be in open rebellion against the club. It is very bad for business. Not me bro. I'm not a Messi fan boy. I adore him just like every Barcelona fan but I do not appreciate his various attempts at demeaning the image of the club.

Barcelona is a brand. Brand needs good image to survive. Barcelona should never collapse because Messi is going to leave or retire.

Even though the board has been shameful, attacks from an important player such as Messi is going to do a lot of damage to the club.

I am looking at the bigger picture here. I still want Barcelona to still be a big club even when Messi departs. Messi actions today cannot benefit the club in the long run.

Messi has every right to criticise a barcelona club being controlled by a dog. No matter how wasteful Suarez has been in the last 3 years, his 198 goals in about 280 games is legendary.

I mean look at how cheap he's being sold(6m) to a major rival, yet Morata is being sold for 45m to Juventus. How low can Barcelona be?

Barcelona has alot of excellent qualities. Beating Liverpool 3 nil is not achieved by a mediocre team but the team lacked alot of mental quality especially when the stake is very high.

This same abject lack of mental strength again underlines Messi's Argentina, where they have been a serial competition final loses, again with the stake being very high and Messi being the captain.

Emotions and sentiments will never allow you guys to see that, while Messi might be a great player, he's almost horrible in other things like leadership. I don't see this current squad lacking in quality. I see them lacking in leadership and mental fortitude

*After winning the UCL last season, which do you think Liverpool would have chosen to win this season if given a choice? The UCL or the EPL? Your guess is as good as mine.

If we happen to win 2 UCL in a row and fail to win La Liga for the next 4 seasons, which do you think we would want to win next?

My point?

La Liga or any other league title is almost as cherished and as valuable as the UCL and winning it should never be seen as a non factor in determining club success.

The argument has always been the bigger n more prestigious trophy

Irrespective of what we think about the UCL I refuse to concede that Madrid (your reference point) had a more successful last decade than Barca.

Barca 3 UCL and 8 La Liga.
Madrid 4 UCL and 3 La Liga.
