Bro,Dembele is the only noticeable player we missed.Maybe Umtiti as we haven't really played much with him this season and some of the goals we have conceded apart from when Pique was playing badly at the beginning of the season has been from Lenglet. But Arthur,nah. The past few weeks that we played badly hasn't been because we were missing Arthur was generally the form of the team was poor.

Go thru past pages on this same forum n see how people has been lamenting on Arthur's injury n how we miss him... You think if Vidal gets injured for 18months anyone will notice? I doubt. We've been lacking control at the centre since Arthur hasn't been there.

I understand the whole Vidal thing.Hes just like Rakitic. They don't play eye catching passes or have the whole game revolving around them.Heck i even see Busquet in matches this days more than Rakitic but there's a reason why they are elite footballers. Someone said that we have conceded less with Semedo at right back and I will tell you Vidal is the reason for that.He covers Semedo a lot in games and makes a lot of tackles for him.Watch Semedo with and without Vidal and you will see the difference.That second leg is an example.But as i said before before,he's not a Barca-Esque kind of player so we won't know

I disagree, Rakitic does not get carded like Vidal, Rakitic has a couple of assist n goals here n there to back him up, Vidal has NOTHING!!! only forming agbero Ugandan on the pitch... when he tackles, it's always a foul...Semedo is defensively solid even before he got to barca. You should have seen him in Benfica or Euro 2016, guy knows how to put a foot right!

Arthur has been very good but has no exceptional match under his belt or any exceptional performance. Vidal meanwhile has been a beast since he started playing more minutes.Of course,he doesn't play 1-2 passes or play diagonal passes or any of that but he's work rate has been exceptional and has really helped us defensively and going forward.He's the one hat has been making tackles in this team and winning balls for us.He's had a couple of bad games especially that match against Athletico Bilbao and he doesn't have that Barca flare but he's been our best signing

For the records, Arthur was exceptional vs spurs in the UCL first leg... only overshadowed by messi master class that night..Arthur was even trending that night.

Both play different things.Arthur is a CM while Vidal is a Box to Box Midfielder. Arthur was injured and we did just fine and didn't even miss him.
