Politics / Re: Why More Nigerians Died Watching 2023 AFCON Than In All History - Professor by 10mobile: 6:31pm On Feb 11
SoNature:
The reason is that they still use emotions to watch Nigeria's game. In fact, I don't use emotions to watch anything I see on a mete television.

I stopped that when I realised that my happiness is too important to be left in the hands of random boys who wear green and white jersey to run up and down in a field for some minutes for their own benefits.
Is this the first AFCON ever played by Nigeria? Why were Nigerians not dying like fowls all these years watching AFCON games where Super Eagles are playing? Why up to 5 people only this year? That man said something deep here.

Is he not allowed to change his mind on policy direction of the country based on new realities or better knowledge/information?

Is he a robot?

Or a zombie?

What sort of country is this?

If you change your mind, you apologize to those you misled if you are a human and not a robot or a zombie. You admit you were wrong beforehand and not to carry on as if nothing went wrong with you.

Forget Obi and come to nairaland and bring suggestions that will bail Tinubu out...there are government officials here...they might see your post and push your idea...

Nation is bleeding...You came out to call Obi

Don't we have consciences??
About this, here's a solution I believe in because it is mainly people-powered...

The Shortest Cut To Raising The Value Of The Naira: A Proposal To Nigerian Governments, NGOs and the Masses(Google Doc)

Let's stop depending on government officials because even if they get the idea, they will not know how to implement it. They will only use it to go and curry favor and it ends there.

So why is everybody now abusing Tinubu for the inflation?

It makes no sense.

Or am I missing something?
Yes, you're missing something big. One reason people are abusing Tinubu is that he campaigned vigorously against subsidy removal during Goodluck Jonathan's era. That's hypocrisy.

Good question.

Answer: Obi would have managed the situation better, with a human face and creativity.

Do you know why the Nigerian politicians do everything they can to destroy

1. Our economy

and

2. Our education system?

It's because it's very easy to control any population once the people are predominantly...

1. poor
2. ignorant

For instance, I'm surprised that some supposedly educated Nigerian youths are unable to see the connection between Government policies and higher cost of cement!

They rather think we should blame Dangote, not Tinubu. At first, I thought it was a joke until I saw more than two Nairalanders pursuing that line of thought.

Here are some extracts...

A lot of natural substances have historically been known as aphrodisiacs in Africa and Europe, like yohimbine and the mandrake plant, as well as ground rhinoceros horn in the Chinese culture and “Spanish fly” which is actually toxic
.

The bolded should remind us how toxic substances can be sold as aphrodisiacs. So, it's good that science has waded into this important area of medicine.

According to this document, herbal medicines have less side effects, which is the direct opposite of what my doctor friend said.
