I find the arguments that it was a metaphor disingenuous and an attempt to stand the truth on its head and make it walk with its teeth. If she had been addressing Nigerians; people who share the same cultural background with her, it would have been understandable but she was addressing foreigners who do not share the same cultural background and so take everything that is being said literally and not metaphorically, it was wrong on all levels. The minister and the idiotic Head of Press spoke like ill trained circus monkeys & should be reprimanded.
