Why do men usually have bow-leg while women usually have k-leg?

This is my observation and I would appreciate a medical explanation.

You know, men also have K-legs and women, bow legs too. I doubt the sex of a child has anything to do with the kinda leg deformity they may get.

Itz true but bowleg is much more common amongst guys while k-leg is much more common wt ladies.
Wondering if it has to do wt d kind of activities they are involved in as kids - boys play football and fight a lot while girls skip rope....

^I beg 2 differ. Boys and football maybe, but girls and skipping? How many girls do u see skipping these days. If at anything, I think the exercise could help straighten their legs.

Well, this is 2023 and I've also been noticing this for some time, especially here in uni. Though there are some bowlegged girls as well, and also guys with straight legs, but nothing is more common than bow-legged guys. It's usually not significantly bowed, just slightly.
If you're a guy reading this, place your feet/ankles together while standing straight, then tell us if there is space between your knees. That's the definition of bowed legs.

I've also thought it could be caused by football (thought not all people that played football have this), so guys that do the above test, and find that they have, kindly tell us if you played football significantly in your younger years.
