By d time dey wl select d 40 for predegree,..abt 20+ would hv fallen under utme admission(u knw dey pass postutme d most,they usually hv high scores)......making it abt 20 spaces left-if the admission is 2 b merit oriented,d remaining 20 shld b for utme candidates wu couldnt meet cutoff buh wu fall directly under d cutoff line....instead,d whole 20 wl b shared among profs and Readers mainly.......
2011,when mbbs wwas 295....i knw sumone wu entered wif 245.....50points difference...i tell u,d last time i checked d meaning of merit,that was nt what i found!

Union, VNTI has gathered that
these Universities including
the University of Nigeria
(UNN), Nnamdi Azikiwe
University(UNIZIK),
University of Ilorin
(UNILORIN), University Of
Benin(UNIBEN), and many
others might be forced to
conduct another post utme
screening for her applicants.
According to our reports, the
Academic Staff Union of
Universities (ASUU) has
warned that successful
candidates at the various
2013 post-UTME
examinations to government
owned Universities may not
be recognised if offered
admission from the same
screening exercise.
This was made clear in Minna
on Wednesday, when the
ASUU Chairman, FUTMINNA
chapter, Dr. Abdulfatai Jimoh,
emphasized that none of her
members would be involved in
the conduct the post-UTME
for over 3000 candidates
slated for Friday and
Saturday in the institution.
According to information
gathered by the VNTI News
Team, Jimoh insisted that,
“any student admitted
through the on-going Post-
UTME is on his or her own
because we would not
recognise or teach such
student., “if the management
goes ahead to conduct the
post-UTME Screening, none
of the lecturers who are
members of ASUU would not
participate in the exercise
and the students if admitted
would not be
recognized by the lecturers.”
The Fate of these students
