The thing is when it comes to the thing of the heart, we all get hypocritical. We are scared to look weak so we are always quick to say "move on" "there are billions of guys out there" and bla bla. If you've never been heartbroken, then I don't pray it happens to you. It's a poison to your soul. Even if you every recover from it, you change from the sweet natured person you were to become this bitter, cynical, skeptical person who would never completely give their heart to someone who may love them completely. Ruining not just one life, but couple of lives in the process. It's easy to tell her to "move on" "there are many fishes in the river" and all, but the thing is, if the girl is so hurt she's contemplating murder, then the guy himself killed her soul. Robbed her of her innocence, destroyed something in her that cannot be replaced. Why should he go off free, unhurt and happy.
