it will only complicate the traffic on that road, how will FRSC rickety vehicles achieve this, Lets wait and see. I will overtake them, and go free, nothing will happen 1 Like |

They should just focus on putting the roads in order. traffic lights are more important and mostly needed Naija is still too far from the rest of the world |

Something needs to be done about our road speeds. I just drove on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway today and fully loaded commercial (rickety) busses were passing me as if I wasn't moving. Meanwhile I was doing 100km/hr! Our roads are even not in great shapesm As much as I don't know how effecitve this method will be, something has definitely got to be done! |

Commercial drivers in Nigeria are nuisance. They are always on kill speed. Speed kills more than bad roads in Nigeria. Imagine a driver moving at 160km/h. 2 Likes |

See d both ends of d road.. D curb 2 d left of ur screen scatterd with potholes d curb 2 d left dry grasses ridden. Wait o! Is it out of place for d FRSC to advice govt on hw 2 modernise dia operations and providing dem with logistics for modern day road saftey workings? Na only 2 sell job for N500,000 dem sabi. d |

Asking for my idea? I wll tell u for academic purpose.. Dia is smthing called artificial or makeshift speed breakers. Let me break it dwn for u.. Sections of d road wia vehicles most likely wll go beyond 100kph or 120kph shld hv wt is popularly knwn as (bumps) put dia bt nt ur regular permanent bumbs. Dis are removable bumps. U cn fix dem and remove dem @ interval. Dt is my idea and its meets international best practice. Thank u. 2 Likes |

forkinsonlolo: this is a very nice concept, at least no accident will be recorded to day. i wonder why people always like to condemn any positive idea by the government and how do they wanna monitor other cars coming behind...is there gonna be a start time for every car. You need to understand that a journey is a continuous process not a car race. 1 Like |

Tee_Seven: Something needs to be done about our road speeds. I just drove on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway today and fully loaded commercial (rickety) busses were passing me as if I wasn't moving. Meanwhile I was doing 100km/hr! Our roads are even not in great shapesm 100km/h on the express is snail speed. if you are driving a small car, you should be doing 120km/h. I do as high as 180km/h and still get to the eastern parts late in the evening or night. On post, it will take just one vehicle to overtake those rickety FRSC cabins for that traffic build up ploy to scatter. Even a blind man can feel the traffic build and frustration on that road, besides, when robbers latch in on the slow movement and attack, the FRSC men will scamper and leave the innocent road users to their fate. This country is so messed up. The people coming out with these ideas are people who have been driven on specific western roads where cars really speed, the autobahn. We as a nation think through our ar*ses |

Smh. This is a waste of time and effort. Just look at the picture again and see the traffic jam they've caused behind them. There are higher priorites than this; repair the roads, erect 'working' street lamps etc. This is an expressway for christ's sake. Can't they use these speed meters instead. Naija is backward jare. |

And who monitor d vehicles travelling later 2nite on dis same road? Why cnt we ever do d right thing? Why nt put up self sustaining measures to solving problems for God sake? Dis is simply wt is called busy body or shortage or lack of modern ideas. Are d FRSC's vehicle running on oxygen or fuel; who pays? Haba! 1 Like |
