Someone should kindly give me insight oooo.
Don't seem to want to understand this any more. What I need is a visit visa so I would have ample time to search for a job. But some lady at Etihad, Lagos, said they stopped processing of any visa that is 2weeks and above.

Etihad wont process your visa. They stopped since last year. Contact any Travel Agency to assist you.

Most of you here are preaching, 'do-it-yourself', do not pay anyone no dime. Well, I tried to do-it-myself, but I was told I couldn't do-it-myself. I came back here to tell dear forumites about my experience, loo and behold!, the very ones advocating the idea of 'do-it-yourself', are the very ones saying you can't do it yourself, you have to go through an agent...aaarrrhhh!!!

Okay, if I have to go through an agent, how do I know the 'GENUINE' one? The whole thing is tiring. How can such beautiful thing as wanting to travel abroad be laden with so much headache? I know there are a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing on this forum...CARE is the watchword.
