Recently in nigeria, the GSM/CDMA service providers have abused the use of short codes to advertise one thing or the

other including lotteries telling their target they will win millions of naira by texting certain numbers. some of these

short code messages many times have become a nuisance to mobile users. in my own view this act should be stopped by NCC.

It is said that in civilized countries like the America and in Europe this does not happen. Nlanders what do you think?

Lets talk objectively and provide reasons for your submission.
