Walat83: We Nigerians can be really funny sometimes, I haven't being here for a while, and I'm seriously disheartened with all the altitudes towards Azerman. What has he done wrong? he did only share his opinion about the place, simple! If you like it, go for it and if you don't just let it be. I like Azerman for one thing so far, he has never for once said 'let me help you do this' but only said ''Search it on Google''. what more do you people want? I have already made my own researches before even knowing Azerman and to be honest, I have to tell you the country is good, that's my own opinion. If you are not okay with, go ahead and do your own findings, simple! All the blames and despicable altitude towards Azerman is totally unfair. I will be traveling to Azerbaijan next month, already booked my ticket and good to go. Azerman didn't help me with anything but only gave advise when it's needed. When I told him I got accepted to ADA, he was even worried about the expenses and advised me to search for a cheaper school because the ADA is a modern school and kinda expensive. I even remember begging to send money to him in order to help me secure an apartment, do u know what he said to me? He said ''go through the school, they can never cheat you and if you get here, u don't still like it then you can find a better one yourself'' So can anyone tell me may be A SCAMMER would ever say that, for every advise and suggestion, he never asked me for anything in return, he only made it clear that to apply for any programme over there one must be extremely patient, which is totally true because it took me a complete year to finalized my admission, all the schools in Azerbaijan goes through multiple process to accept a student, including online interview where they asks you different kind of questions about the programme you sign up for, your country, why the school and Azerbaijan as a country e.t.c can you tell me the process it takes you to obtain the visa? what are the documents which the school send to you? because i really confuse with my own, my school has only send to me the acceptance letter, hope i can use the acceptance letter and other supporting documents for the visa application please i need your soonest posting... |

Thankx alot for giving the chance of expressing Myself....Living in Azerbaijan is pretty tough....We have got many Nigerians here, they came and leave and some are available and some are deported due to lack of document. Some are in prison for drugs....Many Nigerians came here with the hope that they can get a job, send money home, live large....as they were promise before leaving Nigeria....But the situation here is totally different...it is a free world...u have the right to live whereever u wanna live but before travelling get the right place to go...dont fall in the wrong country and hands...Wasting time,money....etc....but if u wanna study u can....but the education here isnt impressive at all...As a student do not believe dat u can get a job....becos all position are filled....just ur personal skills gonna help u..... 2 Likes |

Salam Fellow-Nigerians! (As we say in Azeri, meaning Hi!). There are Nigerians that actually live and work in Azerbaijan. Nigerians have been studying here, and still study here. There are professional Nigerian footballers as well, who are doing well. So, it's a fact that you can find Nigerians in all works of life here! Including the oil and gas sector and in small businesses. Azerbaijan is a peaceful place to live in, and Nigerians don't have a reason not to like the place. But what you should also know is that Nigerians are exploited in Azerbaijan. And it is your own brother, parading as agents that are taking advantage of you. To mention a few: One Uche (Hungary), Azerman, et al. These guys have probably visited Azerbaijan, or perhaps passed through. But the truth is, they don't reside in Azerbaijan. So please stop acting naive and gullible to their lures. It is all disguised lies! How do I know? Nigeria has a community called NIDO Azerbaijan (Nigeria In Diaspora Organization). We are currently updating our database. And we know who-is-who in Azerbaijan. We keep getting stories of how people fall into horrible encounter working with agents. Trust us, about 98% of Nigerians who come to Azerbaijan nowadays do not meet their expectations. So, just to sound out a warning alert. Please, before you make that commitment coming to Azerbaijan, you can always check through the NIDO Azerbaijan Facebook page, or basically google Nigerian - Azerbaijan relationships. Commit 30 minutes of your time before you make that leap and avoid any eventual regret. The truth is even though Baku is a bubbling city, it is nothing like Western Europe or the Americans. It is far from your dream-beautifully-coated idea of how abroad looks or feels like. The struggle here is enormous and most time overwhelming. You can study here, you can also come here on a short visit stay, for tourism or some professional functions. Nice place to experience. But certainly you can't find "that" job. Good luck with that ambitions of yours to travel abroad. NIDO Azerbaijan decided that in the interest of saving some uninformed persons, it will be nice to put this out there.
