Nigerians are very silly creatures, instead of praising GEJ they are busy talking trash. Had it been fashola now all praises would have be given to him but since its GEJ whatever he does is bad and not good. Always recoganize good work no matter who is involve. |

Omexonomy: . And they will insult you if you try to tell them the truth e.g earthgreaners tak dat musiwa gbawe seanate07. And if you insult them back the moderators will ban you for 2 months. Is freedom of opinion a crime? Not being a GEJ fawner does not mean I am unaware of the considerable stride, especially in the power sector! Muddleheaded OmexoMORON! |

The reason why i and maybe someother s may not jump up in excite ment is that the power situation from my experience is worse. No one should try and give me the transformer in your area bla bla bla story....i live in an estate with dedicated transformers. Where? Abuja. So let's stop celebrating mediocrity. |

gboss4sure: Nigerians are very silly creatures, instead of praising GEJ they are busy talking trash. Had it been fashola now all praises would have be given to him but since its GEJ whatever he does is bad and not good. Not all Nigerians, dont make such blanket statements. Nairaland is just populated by lots of people with irrational, biased and jungle mentality. GEJ has done marvelously great in the time frame he has been in office than former Presidents did in their 8yrs. We are in this mess because OBJ did nothing in his 8yrs to provide us with electricity but to run the country like a family kitchen. |

Omo_Tier1: Because you accept mediocrity as your highest standard of living does not mean everybody has to. I do not celebrate mediocrity and I am not the type to be celebrating under achievement when I know the country can do ten times better. In less than 20 years, brazil transformed their energy sector with less noise. Today is megawatt..tomorrow is gigawatt... Just give Nigerians stable light that's all! Here in england, if not for curiosity, I barely would have known where the electricity is being generated and as I type, I do not know where the local sub station or transformer is in my area but I enjoy 24/7 electricity and that's all Nigerians care about not these story story! You have spoken well... all we need is constant power supply, nothing else. They this but want to keep beating around the bush... |

manny4life: Ok, got your point. Your point is you have beef with people rejoicing about the miniscule part of the project completed so far and not the project? Well, your point is duly noted but understand that people will always be people. People will be happy when there's anticipation, not just on paper anymore but for once, you can see reality and know that it's almost there, now I think that's why people rejoice.Bro i don't blame the guy to wait and see before celebration, OBJ administration have teach him a had leason, with his $18million power project |

What is wrong with this section of Nigeria (yorubas) that they don't see good in what another person do. What if OBJ is from SE or SS ![]() |

All I want is steady power supply and if GEJ can provide that before 2015,he would not only have my vote,I'll compaign for more votes for him ..... Imagine the like of Fashola as president,I'll bet my life on the fact that his pay master Tinubu will have over 50 percent in all these power transmitting companies or is that not how they have mortgaged Lagos treasury to Tinubu's pocket |

gratiaeo: What is wrong with this section of Nigeria (yorubas) that they don't see good in what another person do.Easy dude . .Do not equate the ACN supporters with the Yoruba ethnic group. . . OBJ had his own fair share of criticism , though it wasn't as rabid and concentrated as the current concerted onslaught on GEJ . . . . |

i can't wait for the laraban maku's nggt visit to lagos so that we can see these projects and many more federal government projects and hopefully some ACN butt lickers on nairaland and gej critics alike who reside in lagos can follow the train and also attend the town hall meeting, the forum where the public can ask questions. how i wish uncle fash would attend so that we could ask him question on some pressing issues and cost of some of his projects |

braxjay: Hmmm. Ok.You'r on track dude, you can help FG & PHCN to produce results in their respective activities when you contribute your quota to the activities of these bodies. FG- as a patriotic citizen you claimed to be, how can you outside help those you elected inside make an impactful and live improving decision. PHCN - this organization aint gonna employ the whole country just to maintain steady supply and attend immediately to faults and power glitchs on field, its wholly incumbent on you to report faults to the right PHCN personnel not (NEPA.2 as una tag dem), many more is demanded from you. |

babapupa: Every village in Nigerian have zoomed past Lagos and Lagos is always behind, but you people still want to live and die in Lagos instead of the so called villages you listed.Dude please! First of all, I don't live in Lagos. I actually pushed for, and got, a transfer OUT of darn state 'cos I couldn't stand it. The only time you'll see me in Lasigidi are during compulsory training programs or trips out of the state or country. As a matter of fact, my best moments in Lagos are those drives back to the airport .As for others, I'm sure they're all there to take advantage of the large market there, thanks to Lagos's population. And I admit that the state provides a lot of job opportunities. But it's sure as hell on of the most unconducive and crowded place to live in. |

gratiaeo: I can see your feelings, but celebrating street light sound funny than this projectYour logic is basically that we can can not celebrate actual uninterrupted power and street lights that no government in Nigeria can guarantee except fashola, but we can and must celebrate darkness that 20 billion bought for nigerians and your kabukabu sub station can not guarantee any uninterrupted power to anybody or street lightsl In Nigeria.... You sound so backward like the clowns who are denying you electricity. |

Sincere 9gerian: "Olotu said there are currently about 491 power projects across the country, while about 40 of the projects have been completed"You are nothing but a jealous fool, either you like it or not,Pa Awo has rendered a great service to this Nation and that is evident in the level of human and economic development of the South west, that has surpassed those of other regions. |

Seriously, I don't understand most Nigerian aberrant lamentations on Nairaland about the president. It is clear the president needs your cooperation and help ever than before. The truth is that if you can't see anything good in what he is trying to do then you will never see anything good coming out of that country in the next century to come. No president is good, but the citizens have to be the backbones upon which a country develops and the president can rely on. Indeed, many Nigerian youths failed to see these factors and they are becoming loud mouths than actions, to work with their leaders for the good of the nation. Please, spare me these complains about the president and put your working cloths on and get on to work. Nonsense! |
