pheforusty: Hmmm..I had 2 read dis thread 4rm page 1-7 n I must say y'all r doing a gewd job..well I'm currently in ma 300lvl n studying electrical/electronics engineering..recently I started 2 teach maself Visual basic all tenx 2 FG/ASUU(haven't gone far tho) n attended a tutorial where I got familiar wiv Proteus(recently)...ma ? Is thus ''is dere any link wiv VB as a language n micro-controllers''(I hope I asked d ? rightly)..pls I'll nid ur help..wud appreciate if any 1 can put me in d rite dirxn..I dnt wanna b an engineer of theory n no practicals..TNX..GOD BLESS!!
since u are an elect/elect stdnt, if u realy want to learn microcontroller programming you have to start learning either C or assembly language.visual basic is not much related to microcontroller.VB is usually used when micros is to be interfaced to the PC such as in usart communication.VB is sometimes used to write the lang to on how the pc wil communicate with the micro.Visual basic is not used to program microcontroller.proteus is used to simulate electronics circuits and micros.you can write your code in asm or c with an ide or txt editor eg notepad, assemble or compile it with mplab or microC and simulate ur code with proteus.if it works on proteus,it is much likely it will work in real life.i wil leave you here in the hands of my oga at the top.

In addition to what Oga hopefullman said, I think, if u are really interestd in microcontrollers, you suld forget other languages and concentrate on C, fo now! besides u suld study the C with a specific compiler, as the microcontroler C-compilers hav varying syntax. Again understandng of assembly will be a huge advantage as t my opinion, this is the fundamental language of microcontrollers.
If u can just keep the pace with microcontrolers, I promise u, by d time u go for ur IT, u will b makng useful gadgets fo sale.

Sorry for late reply, I was busy. One will cost around N50k but if you need more than one the price may come down to N40k

i think it's the model number.i saw it on microscale website.i think it's used to differentiate the various pic devt board

Ok. we have two types of PIC dev. boards: One with built-in USB-based ISP programmer(N15k) and one without programmer(N10k).

Since you are buying the Pickit3,then you will buy the one without programmer.

That was OLD price. I will inform our webmaster to update the price.

I checked the PIC kit link you just posted, the cost of that board is N10k(the board is obsolete(not in stock)). Sorry for the price error.

Do you have a kind of drill to drill pcb?a kind of smal dc motor to be modded into a drill.how will i receive my package after payment?

We don't have PCB drilling machine now (but if you are serious we can order one for you).
If you made the payment to the account number, you will send your address(where your package will be shipped to).

No cheap or easy circuit. Use stablizer(Automatic Voltage Regulator) or 110V-to-220V step-up transformer.

you can try getting a soldering/rework station. I have never used one but I beleive it may help.
