Yet, that same time has made this bond grow thicker

Our soles sticking even more and more to this platform
Our feet pacing like never before

Notes from our song now beam flawless

Everyday with you has simply been the best
2 years in this bond,
2 years in this bond of love,
Yet we keep hitting apogee, even though the stakes keep rising

Have i told you?
Have you seen them?
I guess not,
But i sure heard them,
I sure caught a glimpse of them;

Men with the sledge, women with the chisel;
Hitting so hard, working with all zeal;
Trying to put a wedge in this rock,
Wanting to put a split to us;
They just want to see this platform crack

Yet this rock opens not
Yet our strings have grown even firmer
Our rhythm more sonorous
Yet our feet ain't slippery

Hmm, this most be God holding us.

My wife,
Beyond just an anniversary,
This is our dance of victory
This is me seeing feet having grown bigger
This is me celebrating a plus and a multiplication to my life
Celebrating you- my plus and my all.

The very one who makes the feet bigger
The only one who could have caused these giant strides
