How can one wear a new shoe without first cleaning the dirty leg that
Has dirtied the old shoe, as that's the case of the merger political
Parties. our problem in Nigeria is not any political
Party but leaders that are not nationalistic. So let the APC first make
Us believe dey are worth our trust and that its not just
Business as usual. their sole aim shouldn't be based on taking
Power from the PDP but the assurance that they are
Going to be different. One of the major problems to
Our democracy is the multiplicity of interest of our leaders. even as a single
Political party we have such issues as conflict of interest how much
More when a plethora of parties merging together we are sure to have problems
Much more than we've ever had my advice to APC is that
They should first reform their minds as a new shoe in a old
Dirty leg is as good as a old dirty shoe in an old dirty leg
Because sooner or later the new shoe would become old.
