FULL TIME: Cote D' Ivoire 3-0 Gambia. The Ivoriens now have 7 points from 3 matches, to remain at the summit of the group. If Tanzania beats Morocco tomorrow, they (Tanzania) will still maintain 2nd place, but will now have 6 points. It seems like Gambia, with just 1 point, has been psychologically eliminated from contention. |

Burger01: Agborman, Obafemi Martins is 'old'.. We need a player like Emenike.. Sharp, alert, hungry for goals, fast paced and precise at goal shootings.. That isnt fair on martins...he simply lacked quality service from his mates..he is short but very fast with lethal left foot but mikel,oboabona kept shooting long aimless passes to him with tall strong kenyan defenders all over him..someone like Defoe will have same problem with such passes.Moses had a chance to pass to him when he was well positioned infront of post but he moses chose to shoot from a narrow angle.. Emenike is a different player,he is tall,with more muscles to bully defenders.If martins had better passes today,he would,ve performed better. |
