Since i re-dedicated my life 2 Christ i decided 2 abstain from sex and other sexual sins(like pornography n masturbation)...i started abstaining since 2005 till date: what ar d spiritual, social, biological or medical, economical benefits n dangers?...and if u're inspired by me u can join d Virgins' family topic at d religious section...fanx

and pls note: am jxt 27years old, i started abstaining at d age of 19...i've been intimate 3times with only one girl...am now a new creature in Christ, old things have past away...i hope 2 abstain for more 2years till i get married...i jxt want 2 know d biological dangers if there's any

You were the one that abstained, and you are here asking me the benefits? Shouldn't you know the benefits? It's like eating a plate of rice and chicken and coming to ask me how it tastes, how delicious the food was! Who does that? And what do you mean by economical benefits of abstinence?

First of all- a big CONGRATS to you...you are blessedsmiley

On the merits- numerous.

free from possibly contracting HIV, STDs, STIs, etc.

Spiritual- numerous and free from contacting other peoples' life curse and hard luck. Having intimacy with someone means joining spiritually with them, but ppl dnt know, n won't agree. This can further reduce lifespan, blessings, favours, blessings, anointing, etc. So many people have died becos the had sex with someone that carries a death/condemnation spirit or curse.

Economically, maintaining a girlfriend in present Nigeria involves much money- sponsoring dates, outings, buying gifts, birthday parties, etc. If u know how much u have saved whilst abstaining,u will thank God.

In all, u are a good role model, how I wish more youths can follow ur footsteps and we won't be reading and hearing all these heartbreak and several other sad stories abt romance.

I wish u more grace to stand and to finish wellsmiley
