The name of the hotel is Safari Hotel, near fire station on Louis Botha drive. And there are indeed many hotels in SA, Malaysia and Singapore with such signs. However, these are hotels in rundown parts of town where crime and chaos reign. You will never find a hotel in a safe place with such signs
