Let's start with Abia state





Pictorial view of residential areas in Aba and Umuahia respectively, a state that has received more than 100 billion naira in subventions only over eight years (1999 - 2007). On a daily basis, hundreds of Abia government officials commute through this road, but it is striking to note that the same officials actively connive to ensure the state of the road remains same as a guarantee for lining up their pockets - the failure of leadership and governance.

For the failure of leadership and governance, Abia state as a case study has been reduced to filth.

I wonder how big a cow's mind is? Real cows could be intelligent though,but assumed ones like you always turn out to be beef,the consumables.

My eyes are filled with tears as i watch these photos. One may ask why? These photos were taken in streets i knew very well, but can hardly connect with now. From Asa Road to Aba-Owerri Road, Aba Railway Station,the various Over-rails to Eziukwu Road; all those streets were wide, clean, with underground drainage in the 80s, due to Mbakwe's selfless service to the people of then Imo state. Enyimba City has gone to the dogs because no one could continue from where the man who brought so much love to the City stopped. These photos are telling stories 1 million words cannot tell. The politicians in Nigeria have wasted our heritage, and it seems we don't know how to tell them that enough is enough. I still have some hope though - the beautiful smiles of Enyimba people will return. It has resilient people...
