A very tricky question for me here.

On one hand, I want a lady who has an intelligent character, and very peace loving and not like a rambunctious fellow that I am.

Check the beautiful one, if you can live with her faults, I will say go for her, it cannot get any worse
The ugly one knows she is ugly, and to attract guys, she has to go the extra mile does not mean that that is her nature. When she don get wetin she want, then you go see the true person. On the contrary the beautiful one feels she does not have to do anything to please you, cos you should be tripping for her beauty
